You said that Catholicism is "the religion that says that Hitler as a baptized Catholic will be sitting pretty in heaven right now."

And as I conceded in my last comment (were you paying attention?), you are right that wouldn't be enough. He would also have had to have done his requisite penance (x Hail Mary's and think about what you have done young man) and been repentant (really super sorry). Seeing as so far as I can recall he didn't commit any unforgiveable sins, I mean it's not like he blasphemed the holy spirit or anything (the holy spirit sucks dicks, HA! now I'm worse than Hitler by Catholic morality) he just ordered the systematic murder of millions and millions of people.

What actual Catholic sin did he commit anyway? Keeping in mind that murder in Catholic theology is an unlawful killing (at least thats what they tell me when I bring up all those mercilessly slaughtered by the Hebrews in their bible) and everything Hitler did was fully legal in Germany, him being der fuhrer and all.

Good grief this is awful. The unlawfulness that they are talking about is whether it an action corresponds to the divine law. No Catholic theologian holds that merely because an action is legal under the laws of a particular country, it therefore isn't sinful. See, for example, St Thomas Aquinas:

"...laws may be unjust through being opposed to the Divine good: such are the laws of tyrants inducing to idolatry, or to anything else contrary to the Divine law: and laws of this kind must nowise be observed, because, as stated in Acts 5:29, "we ought to obey God rather than man."
