I dunno man. Motiv's Arctic Sniper spare ball is bland and urethane and I cant tell you how many jams that thing has gotten me out just as an option to throw way on the outside down and in.

My point has nothing to do with performance at all

Then buy a Viz-A-Ball or something... As much as I hate Storm I'll give credit where credit is due. They're putting out something thats function over fashion as their entry level.

Dude, it was simple question. I didn't ask for an alternative product. You do know that they can still put out the Mix, but also have a polyester ball or two as well. They've done it in the past so I'm gonna go ahead and sat it's not impossible.

Pretty sure it answered your question. Why is the Mix boring? Well its because Storm is putting out a functional ball as opposed to an Angry Birds ball. As stupid as it sounds certain colors and or designs will also effect the way a ball rolls. Storm wants to put out something that's going to be an extremely entry level ball with a small block so you can 1. shoot spares with it. and 2. Have a legit option on the extreme extreme burn. Not only that but as noted by other posters urethane is going to be a hell of a lot more durable than a plastic option. Plus... Its not really Storm's market or anyone's market any more. Most companies are putting out urethane for their spare balls for that durability and performance level and going function over fashion.

I get what you're saying though. I had the original Ebonite Skull for the longest time and love the hell out of that thing and would but stoked if RotoGrip brought back the clear Grenade but at the same time.. I've also blown up 2-3 plastic balls in my time.

Side note... I'd roll the fuck out of an Angry Birds ball.

I gave my stepfather an Angry Birds ball for his birthday. Ebonite makes them, but I think the line has been discontinued.

Man totally missed out. That and I really liked when Brunswick did the poolballs

No because my god dam question was, in a nut shell, why doesn't Storm have a polyester ball option as well like they have in the past. Not - "why do they make the Mix such a boring looking ball?" I did mention the mix and that it's their only option for spare balls, but my actual questions was why don't they offer a polyester ball with a fun design like they used to always do.
