Ha. Hahaha.

A while back, I saw some stats as to subscriber overlaps. We do have some redpillers here...

[–]Sacred Heart (Catholic)misspropanda 24

Yeah, turns out it's not just perfect people here, sadly. It'd make my job as a mod much easier if everyone was perfect. Then I'd just obsess over possible banner images or stuff like that. I haven't found a way to slip one with pandas in yet.

[–]Christian (Cross)myriadic [

don't worry about "slipping one in". Put a cross in the panda's hand and no one will care.

[–]Christian (Cross)mrdaneeyul 6

Wait, there are imperfect people in this sub?? I'm leaving!

Yeah, there's lots of Protestants /s

Perhaps some classic art, except with pandas instead? Although I'm sure you've already tried that

As a sub primarily of Christians why would you ever imagine anyone here was perfect?

[–]Christian (Chi Rho)UisceDhiaga [

Because it's a sub primarily of Christians, duh.

[–]Christian (Baptist)Aerowyne 8

Is it bad if I am subscribed to them just for amusement?

I can understand that. I hate to say it, as a woman, that sub honestly scares me.

[–]Roman CatholicDakarius 7

you think that sub is scary? check out /r/mgtow for some real horror.

Woah! These people do not like women.

They don't even like themselves.

Ironic how they're supposed to ignore them

Don't forget /r/redpillwomen!

Yikes! That's a first for me. How does that even work??

[–]Agnostic (a la T.H. Huxley)HoundOfGod [

It's for women who believe that women are inherently inferior to men! It appeals to a truly disturbing number of "complementarian" women, and they have a tendency to justify their beliefs using the Bible, unlike TRP, which is more secular.

Actually, I'm complementarian. My husband is the head of my home, but that doesn't mean I think I'm "inferior". God just created us with different roles in mind. Even as a complementarian lady, this does not appeal to me.

[–]Agnostic (a la T.H. Huxley)HoundOfGod [

Actually, I'm complementarian.

Oh, yeah, I knew that when I sent the message. I'm sorry! I really wasn't trying to come across as judgmental of complementarians. Both my parents and grandparents have amazing, loving marriages, and they are very devoted to complementarian ideals.

I wasn't actually criticizing all complementarians, just those bizarre ones who take it to extremes, hence my use of quotes. I really could have communicated that better, and I apologize.

Even as a complementarian lady, this does not appeal to me.

I am very glad! I've actually met one woman in real life who is a devout Christian and a redpiller because of her rather extreme complementarian beliefs, but I know that is the crazy fringe of complementarianism, and not the mainstream belief.

Oh, now it makes sense. :)

And yeah... I've spoken to women who mistake controlling behavior with proper leadership. It makes me very sad. Or women who submit to every man they "date" without even a promise of marriage. The whole thing makes me very, very weary for them. Complementarianism can absolutely be abused, and be an excuse for abuse. Yes, my husband makes the bulk of our big decisions, but he considers my opinion and I speak freely.

Yikes! That's a first for me. How does that even work??

Same way there are male feminists.

I'm not sure how that works either. :(

[–]Episcopalian (Anglican)PersisPlain [

You don't have to be a woman to be a feminist.

[–]Anglican Church of Australiacandydaze 5

That actually makes me feel a lot better, surprisingly.

I'd say that's better than the alternative, if anything.

I didn't know what TheRedPill was until just now. My life is not any better.

That's the way it goes for large swaths of the Internet.

I forgot to mention that I am not any more enlightened than before either. Your original response still fits, though.

[–]Christian (Nazarene)abonente [

Is it a Matrix fan sub?

From what I gathered it is a sub that looks down at women as shallow and selfish and to take advantage of that you need to work out and act like a jerk. Someone correct me if I am wrong in what little I gleamed from the sub's FAQ/About section.

[–]Agnostic (a la T.H. Huxley)pug4president [

No, although they definitely got the name from the movie. Makes me wonder what they think now that the Wachowski brothers are the Wachowksi sisters.

[–]Roman CatholicGhostlyGirl 30

females

I physically wince at this now. Thanks, internet!

[–]Southern Orthodoxsuperherowithnopower 23

There's some kind of weird intersection between Ferengi beliefs about female nudity and Adam and Eve covering themselves after eating from the Tree of Knowledge...

Feeeeeeeeemales

I think it's deliciously ironic that both the Wachowski brothers are now trans women.

Both now? I know Larry went but didn't know the other did.

[–]Roman CatholicNothingAndNobody 8

Red pillars would probably go on a murderous rampage upon hearing that the Queen of heaven is a woman, too.

[–]Christian AnarchistELeeMacFall 12

> Perpetual virgin
> Probably a lesbian

[–]Roman CatholicNothingAndNobody 5

They'd probably have some choice words for Joseph--I mean his WIFE was a virgin!

Proof that theredpill will never ally with Christianity, for which I am immensely gratefull. We get enough cooks already, let's leave them on their own.

[–]Christian (Cross)raznog [

Saying the entire point is to manipulate women to sleep with them and then move on to more. Seems pretty much the opposite of Christianity.

Ironically redpill loves to praise Russia and other strong Christian countries cause they're an "alpha nations"

If they said some of the stuff they post on there to their Alpha Leader Putin he'd smack them across the room.

[–]Christian (Cross)Madlibsluver [

And I just got this. Ugh.

Thebluepill created a fantastic ever expanding showcase of the stuff they post. It's pretty disgusting but interesting.

If TheRedPill is wrong, then why are there still pills? WERE YOU THERE??? /s
