TL:DR guy trusts wife...gets raped

My best friend and his cousin used to live next door to each other. The cousin was a few years older than us and they both inherited a little land a small house from a mutual relative.

Now I don't know the guy very well, on the surface he seemed cool, he had a motorcycle, played the guitar, had a pretty nice house and family. He was also pretty petty and annoying. A few years ago the guy sued my friend for his inheritance and tried to take his house and land.

Now this guy is married, he has 2 kids, and a small business that seems to produce a nice income. His wife is also pretty hot considering she gave birth twice and was passed the wall. He even bought her a BMW while he drove a Skoda. She looked kinda bitchy to me.

The guy's business goes bust about 2 years ago and the bank takes his house. They got an apartment a few blocks away. I imagine this must have been a rough time for the guy and I doubt the wife was pleased to go from a house to an apartment.

Fast forward to today when I go visit my friend and he gives an update: Apparently when his cousin moved, he didn't have the money to buy the apartment so his parents gave him the money. There was however a small catch, because he still had some debt, he could not buy the apartment on his name. So what did the dumbass do...he put the apartment on his wife's name.

What time is it? Divorce rape time madafakaaaaa!!

She filed for divorce and kicked his ass to the curb. I now know this was a very stupid move on his part, but I have to admit, a few months ago before finding TRP I would have probably agreed with his move.

At first I laughed when I found out, but now, as I'm writing this post, it's just sad...now I'm angry, because a few months ago I was on track to become this guy...

My conclusions:

• marriage is a high risk deal. most men put about as much thought into marrying a woman as they put into buying fruit. this now baffles me...
• your wife/LTR is not your business partner or your friend. she's just someone who comes along for a ride
• women cannot go backwards in lifestyle - Chris Rock
