[–]JakeDoe#1 SAS poster if you ignore all black people and others above me

Good call. I've disliked those links from the start, asking an explicit question and then laughing and pointing when someone is kind enough to answer, however misguided, always felt wrong to me, and the brigading is really an issue there. SAS is better in the wild.

Tbh, SRD , SRS , SAS and the rest of those subs which enforce a np. link as a rule to appear as anti-brigade sub, should know that it is useless. Almost 90 % of the np. links are getting brigaded. I love my SAS, but we shouldn't act like brigading is so surprising, even with enforcing np. link rule.

NP is at least an attempt. The reddit staff have apparently made no attempt at building tools for preventing brigading before it happens so a dumb CSS hack is the best thing there is.

Brigading doesn't have to be surprising to be irritatingly shitty.

    Why do you hate freedoms?

What if the Americans are brigading their own posts to get us shut down?

That post wasn't even SAS-worthy to begin with. People in this sub seem to be getting more and more sensitive.

His answers to /r/sas brigaders were.

I came in the thread and thought like you, but then he started going full retard when he got a few downvotes, I answered too and got banned from the subreddit. Whatever, shouldn't have done it per reddit rules, but it's honestly a bit sad, he's probably going to feel like his opinion was legit...

Everyone replying to him was going full retard, so you can't fault just him. Someone even tried to argue that America wasn't good at the olympics because they don't have the highest "medals per capita," which is the silliest metric i've ever heard of.

[–]ThatFlyingScotsmanLess Scottish than Texas 0

I'm not even sure why the Olympics is focused around nations in the first place, always felt it should be more about the athletes than another aspect of the international dick waving competition.

Haha. That metric gets kicked around here quite frequently.

    Down with eurocuck mods!

Seriously though make it a rule that every thread should contain upvote count in the title. At least then it'll be easier to tell when cunts from here are upvoting.

At least then it'll be easier to tell when cunts from here are upvoting.

We have the votecount at the time of posting due to yankbot anyway

How often do you ban people from here? Maybe time to increase the force of ban hammer.

    [–]ObrakaToo sexy to flair[S] 3

How often do you ban people from here?

temp and perms combined 2-3 people a day

I bet 90% of those are the same finnish troll.

but honestly, if you're just here to jump into linked comments and start arguing with the people being linked here a ban won't really change much. people like that can still come here and follow the links

not saying they shouldn't be banned though but it won't solve much

[–]nessie7Doing an ethnographic study on the tribe of Yuropooristan

But just because the votes change doesn't mean it was brigading from SAS either. I've seen SAS I've been too lazy to post switch from high positive to negative in half a day, just as a thread gets exposure, and different time-zones come online.

Serious question, why don't we just only use censored screenshots? Makes the task of the mods a whole lot easier and no yankbot required

[–]ThatFlyingScotsmanLess Scottish than Texas 2

    no yankbot required

You're going to take Yankbot's job from him? Like some 'mmgrunt?

    [–]failin3US has gun violence? Homicides don't count!

Yankbot is tired with dealing with the homogeneous users of this sub. He wants to go to an actual diverse sub.

[–]nessie7Doing an ethnographic study on the tribe of Yuropooristan

A lot of the times the entire thread is worth a read, and the context is important to see how SAS it really is.

It would also be much easier to fake submissions too. The sub would then just turn into something like justneckbeardthings where people post censored "conversations/quotes" imposed onto a fat neckbeard and circlejerk each other. Its shit.

Honest question from a troglodite; are there any screenshot tools for reddit apart from ctrl + print_scr? Ease of use is .np main benefit.

Please don't. imgur is blocked in my work :(

[–]Sgt_ColonAustria: that place with Crocodile Dundee and Fosters right

Is there any way to block user from accessing a subreddit? There are a few regulars that seem to stalk the links, I've noticed.

    [–]ObrakaToo sexy to flair[S] 0

You mean guys like soggyindo? Unfortunately not

[–]Sgt_ColonAustria: that place with Crocodile Dundee and Fosters right

If in the future the sub decides to go for screencatcher based posts it'd slow those types down a bit. Problems for later.

Maybe there could be a wall of shame for these regular brigaders who abuse the site for their own agenda, disowning them as such.

And that xvampireweekend guy, he has been around for a looooooong time

Thanks for taking some action. I love SAS and have been frequenting it since a few months from it's inception, but the brigading has been getting much worse over the past few months and that makes me sad :(
