For the 'banking infractions'? No. It should in no way be illegal for me to use my money that I own in a way that the government has arbitrarily decided is bad b/c they don't like it. If I want to move $9,999 a dozen times, that's my goddamn business.

Should he have lied to the FBI? Probably not. I personally believe the 5th Amendment allows me to do so, but he could have just said nothing. So, also no.

For the underlying accusations? Absolutely. But that ship has sailed, under the law.
