Forum Shutdown Imminent

Dear Fellow Paycoiners,

Support for this forum has ended.

A number of events have occurred. The loss of the primary entity supporting XPY: Team Paycoin; the lack of development from XPY Dev; the loss of active community members; the loss of millions of Dollars due to one man.

Additionally, NodeBB borked several weeks ago and the Administrative user role has lost it’s permissions.

It is therefore unknown how much longer the site can be maintained.

Without a solid wallet and daemon, without official support, without any reason to hold or use XPY, without the support of the community which has carried it for the past year through thick and thin, Paycoin has reached its end of life.

Fare well.

I don’t know why you guys are keep saying XPY buggy and worthless.

I have been running wallet on linux machine for 5 month.

Micro prime works.

Staking works

Transaction is no problem with latest wallet.

There are a lot of coins lower than XPY.

I will keep my XPYs and collect more worthless XPYs for fun.

@broyhill That’s all well & good but how is the new “Community” supposed to communicate? Everything on Slack? That’s not a very satisfactory forum as it has no organization of topic or the ability to review important announcements once they slide a mile away buried under other comments.

@TCB47 Slack is in the same hand, if you are too critical and ask the wrong questions… channel will close.
Majesty insult will not be tolerated.
To ask for the rest to be burned 6 million XPY … people have crossed the red line.

Edit: I forget to include the 300 LOL’s… seems to be the new ION language
EDIT2: What I read on slack… forum will be closed tomorrow because of bitching and ungrateful members. Moreover, there were not enough LOL’s in the comments of this members.

It works okay until you start stressing it with hundreds of inputs and hundreds of thousands of XPY. Transferring a single Prime Controller is a risk. Burning 1 million XPY at a time from the thousands of staker conversion inputs corrupts the dat file.

As the value of XPY declines, more users dealing with bigger numbers is a natural consequence, and only started to become obvious with the value at $.02.

The DNS Seeds are scripted to restart every 2 two hours. Remember when we had the “node forced fork?” The seeds crashed so some of the other nodes forked. Maybe it’s fixed, maybe not

I don’t even know if they’re running still. Once they shut down, the blockchain will stop. The devs will have to add checkpoints every day to maintain an operating decentralized network.

Point is it’s not worth our time anymore.
