I wanted to clear up the situation about me and the 144hz drama. Firstly, I want to make a public apology for being stupid and for not having removed the "144 monitor" donation goal earlier (when I got it). I had the bright idea to ask myself (how much more will people donate if I say I don't have it?), and, well, I'm paying the consequences. But, you know what, I somewhat knew this would happen (and maybe even I wanted this to happen, I don't know), because having literally a camera filming your hands and the bottom part of the screen, of course someone would see that is it a 60hz monitor. Anyway, I wanted to apologize to this very supportive community in terms of donations. In fact, they helped various streamer achieve their goals (I'm thinking about _index and Cookiezi here). So I'm sorry. As for the fact that I bragged about doing these scores on a 60hz well, I'm half sorry, because I got this monitor in mid-March if I remember correctly. That means that every AR11 score I did beforehand was done on a 60hz. (Thinking about Best Friends and Oracion DTHR).I can show the monitor to you guys if you want. Secondly, I can and will refund anybody that donated after I got myself that monitorand that want their money back, which I will perfectly understand. I feel really bad and that's the least I can do. Well, that's it. If you want to clear anything up more, just ask.

I'm actually curious as to how people would be willing to think someone (new) is legit. Like, people know hvick225 and that he's known to do good scores and that's why probably has the community behind him, same with Rafis, for instance.

What if there's someone "new" (unknown to most people, still in top #100 or so) who has played (HD)DT(HR) all the time and starts randomly raking in 600pp plays by having a godlike time and is legit? Will the majority of people be like "nah fuck this dude he's cheater" or "nice, a new top player, looking forward to see top 10 competition"?

It's fun to think about, imo.

Thing is, people don't start dropping 600pp scores all of a sudden, they work up to it. Even if they work up to it very quickly, there's no sudden jump up to god-tier, it's always a steady climb.

Well, I guess that's true. But I believe that it's possible for them, I mean Axarious did that when he hadn't done so before (almost 700pp when the one before had been 588pp, plus it's his only HDDTHR score).

Let's assume that someone will choke their (HD)DTHR plays with 1-3 misses basically every time so that they don't really receive pps from it. Their top scores are DT scores. Now if someone does get a lucky run and gets a 650pp score from playing it - would it be considered a hacked one enough to get the guy banned?

Sure, play count is a factor (if there's many plays on said map, it'd be easier to believe), but if they do a Bikko and play it offline, what then?
