However, am I aware that I have an unusual look that grants a certain privilege for me to exist in life in a very different way than most people? Yes, absolutely.

You don't look very unusual. Yes, you're pretty and above average, but you're not ungodly beautiful or anything.

Am I aware that because of it, and because I am female, I have to receive a barrage of verbal and physical assault from men on a regular basis because of it? Yes, absolutely.

You receive physical and verbal assault from different men on a daily basis? That might have more to do with you being a stripper, the type you encounter at a strip club is not the same as you'd often see in say, a grocery store. Are men assaulting you everywhere, or is it just in strip clubs?

Have I been programmed to respond in a certain way because of my experience? Yes.

Does that mean you stand there and say this type of shit everytime someone verbally/physically assaults you? If not, how do you respond?

But being a woman -- being a young woman -- this type of response from men is the norm for many of us. If we're pretty, self aware and we don't put out, men hate us. We're bitches. We're cunts. We deserve to be punched and raped.

Seems like you're not talking to the right men. I think you're pretty, but I wouldn't punch and rape you and neither would a large majority of the male population.

If we're pretty and we do fall into the trap of letting men do whatever they want with us, we are sluts and whores who end up disposed.

While it's a shame that some think this way, I don't think it has much to do with this reddit post. People are insulting you because you're going "look at me, I'm so pretty".

But if we don't fit into the narrow standards of beauty that society has created for us women, we can enjoy being treated like second class citizens.

I don't understand. Are you implying that being ugly is better than being pretty, or that being average is better than both?
