It's almost like people could contact news organizations who then ask Reddit about things forcing them to act on removing things they should have long ago.

But who would ever take the few seconds to check if that would work?

I'm just asking questions. ;)

Reading between the lines here, are you suggesting that you pointed out this image to news organizations in an attempt to put pressure on reddit?

If so, don't beat around the bush just say it.

This happened already for this specific image/gun a year or so ago:

But Yishan wasn't a complete pussy like /u/spez and recognized the value of staying hands off.

i have em tagged as a SJW retard. And SJWs have previously contacted places outside of Reddit to pressure them to get rid of something.

So it's highly likely they did or know of someone who did

You actually reported it to news organizations? Holy shit you're more of a pussy than I thought. Do you call the police when your dad tells you to stop dressing up like a girl?

He and his friends in /r/conspirtard are pretty militant about their political views. So it wouldn't surprise me if they made a stunt like that, just look at much time and energy the spend on reddit, for political advocacy reasons.

These guys, for some reason, really hate bitcoin, guns and libertarians. They run these anti-gun and anti-libertarian subs here:

This sub documents drama related to that:

I have left reddit for Voat due to years of admin mismanagement and preferential treatment for certain subreddits and users holding certain political and ideological views.

The situation has gotten especially worse since the appointment of Ellen Pao as CEO, culminating in the seemingly unjustified firings of several valuable employees and bans on hundreds of vibrant communities on completely trumped-up charges.

The resignation of Ellen Pao and the appointment of Steve Huffman as CEO, despite initial hopes, has continued the same trend.

As an act of protest, I have chosen to redact all the comments I've ever made on reddit, overwriting them with this message.

If you would like to do the same, install TamperMonkey for Chrome, GreaseMonkey for Firefox, NinjaKit for Safari, Violent Monkey for Opera, or AdGuard for Internet Explorer (in Advanced Mode), then add this GreaseMonkey script.

Finally, click on your username at the top right corner of reddit, click on comments, and click on the new OVERWRITE button at the top of the page. You may need to scroll down to multiple comment pages if you have commented a lot.

After doing all of the above, you are welcome to join me on Voat!

I think anti-war is their stance. They point to /r/EndlessWar as subreddit that is disliked by the lib haters.

What the fuck is the problem with a Reddit logo on a firearm? It's a completely legal object, and Reddit like it or not has a significant subcommunity of firearm enthusiasts. If reddit wants to disassociate itself with firearms they have a lot of people and subreddits to ban.

Also pretty shitty if you contacted a site like Mother Jones about this. They're the worst of the worst when it comes to far-left yellow journalism. Anybody with an ounce of common sense can predict they would write a sensationalist and dishonest article about such a small fucking issue. It hurts us as a society to have such unscrupulous individuals claiming to be journalists at all, and you're giving them ammunition to continue their assault on our impartiality and common sense.

Do you do these things because you're pissed you don't have enough for an Obsidian Cape?
