I don't want us to sign Felipe Anderson. We've been linked to him the past few transfer windows and I don't think he's a £46.8m player. We can get other proven players for the amount we'd need to sign him from Lazio.

I agree with you about Sanches. It seems like he has what is takes to become a great player, but paying 60 million in hopes that the he will turn out to be great and return that investment is just a huge risk, Especially since we need proven quality to come in and add something new to the team immediately.

For every Martial there's a few Anderson's. We'd be crazy to keep dipping £50m on these kids

Is it your money? I think 60mil doesnt hurt such a brand as Manchester United in the slightest.

It doesn't but if we throw money like that at unproven players imagine what clubs will ask for when they have proven players we're interested in.

Is it your money?

That being said, a little bit of advice for next time, it not hard to make your point without sounding like a bellend.

  1. Zlatan. I dont think it's worth it to spend a ton of money on a 35 year old player, who might or might not be good enough for us, specially giving the fact that he's so arrogant and would want to play every game and to be the center of attention on and off the football pitch.

  2. Cavani. I'm still not convinced that he's a world class striker. He's missing way too many sitters, his defensive work is fine, but at the end of the day, you're a striker, not a defender. Add to that the price tag and his age, and I'm totally against him.

  3. I dont want us to sign another random youngster for 50+ million pounds. We were lucky with Martial and I'm not sure that would happen again in the near future.

Personally I like Ibra because we are badly in need of a goalscorer and at 34, Ibra isn't going to hold anyone back. Rashford isn't going to be a starter next season anyway. You can't be a fan who complains about a lack of goals but turn down world class goalscorers. He's a free transfer so you can expect high wages but I don't believe that £550k a week bullocks.

I like Renato Sanches too from what I've seen and if our scouting team deems him worth it, I'd take him.

As for players I don't want: I agree with the guy who said Felipe Anderson but perhaps controversally I would also be wary about buying Mahrez.

I'm not happy with most of the names we've been linked with this summer.

Felipe Anderson is too expensive and just not consistent enough, he's no improvement on someone like Nani.

Sanches seems very expensive for a player of his experience.

I don't know anything about that Rafa guy.

Definitely don't want James either. He's a #10 and lets be honest, Rooney will be playing there next season and James will get shunted out wide where he's too slow. The James transfer sounds like Mata all over again, a signing for the sake of a big-name signing and a player who doesn't really fit us. He'll end up being an expensive elephant in the room like Mata and Felli.

I think Stones is a long way off the standard we need immediately and don't like his price tag. For that money you should be looking for the finished article in Europe.

I'd be happy with Ibra if Rashford was the immediate understudy and Rooney played #10.

I'd really like Gundogan. We need a CM and the price City have been linked with him is very cheap. Instead we're rumoured to be paying twice that for an 18 year old with 6 months senior football.

I don't want us to go crazy in the summer. I think it's imperative we sign 3 top, top players rather than 6 good players. Guys like Rojo, Blind, Schweinsteiger are fine but they're not really improvements on what we had, just... numbers. Go blow £150m on a top CB, CM and RW and get Ibra on a free. I just don't think James, Stones and Sanches are those 3 top players that will get us back to the top next season. They may be great one day but we don't have 5 years spare to wait for that.

Zlatan.

With the emergence of Rashford. Signing someone like Ibrahimovic will be a complete circus. I know he's a great striker but I feel with him in the team, the long term effects on Rashford's development will be sizeable.

Felipe Anderson, Ross Barkley, Renato sanches, gaitan (obviously), lukaku and mats hummels.

[–]knoxisbackMemphis[S] 4ポイント5ポイント  (0子コメント)

Hummels? He and Boateng are the best ball-playing defenders around..

I really, really don't think that we should bring back Anderson. Or make any attempt to pick Falcao back up.

Seriously though, brining Ronaldo back is just stupid.

Lmao where did you read anderson and falcao back?
