A man cannot have the sexual orientation of a woman, because a man is not a woman; therefore a homosexual man does not have the sexual orientation of a woman. This is something you have failed to prove and will continue to fail to do so.

What the fuck are you even talking about? Your reproductive, phenotypical and genetic sex are not in the slightest bit complicated.

And what about the very real sexual instincts that (almost) every human possesses and desires to act on regardless of socialization and often independant of phenotypical drives? Penii dont act on their own. Theyre driven by a brain which has psychological drives and impulses and in 96 percent of cases those impulses orient towards the opposite sex exclusively or dominantly. In 4 percent of those cases there is an inverse relationship at present. All Im doing is postulating that 1) given the hereditary correlations between homosexuality and transgenderism 2) the significantly increases correlation between already belonging to the lgbt prior to transition and eventually transitioning 3) feminine tendencies in gay men and masculine tendencies in gay women that seem to far exceed the same fluidity of behavior in cis men and women: that maybe there's a relationshio between homosexuality and transgenderism and a reason that our groups cluster and often overlap. 66 percent of us here were either gay or bisexual before we realized we were trans. That doesnt even remotely parallel to a sample of cis sexualities. These are not insignificant coincidences. These are meaningful clues into what both gay and transgender people have going on under the hood.

That wasnt the gist of that anecdote. It was "Im black so I have a unique perspective on black experiences." I experience sexuality from both angles and Im telling you that the two orientations come from psychologically different places.

Oh. My. Word. Dont be dramatic. My original post got more than enough upvotes to attest to whether or not people agree with me. There's been a small dedicated subset of real anal fuckers who've loudly stomped up and down at my comments but its two or three out of the other several dozen who like me probably have no idea what youre so upset about.

The physicality of sex is not the same as the psychology of it. Period. If sex were as simple as "point genitals here" there wouldnt be reams of women who have to teach themselves how to orgasm.

That... Has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Youre talking about the physical practice of sex as necessitated by the limitations of biology, not the psychology of where attraction comes from and where its directed. Im a bisexual trans woman and Ill be the first to tell you that while my attraction to men is a very female thing, my attraction to women borders on male. How my psyche resonates and reaponds sexually is a very different thing depending on where I direct that sexuality.

Well it can actually. Maybe not at the gas station you just went to to take a leak, but definitely at your place of work where people know you or school. Unsupportive family could turn you in. The bill offers cash rewards to people on a witch hunt for the transexuals. "Friends" could turn you in.

Theres also very rarely such a thing as definitive proof in science. It is most commonly observed correlations that are true often enough to serve as rules eventually. If you believe the correlations theres a strong hereditary relationship between homosexuality and transexuality and heredity requires genetics.

What personal beliefs? You dont know my personal beliefs. Personally Ive been an out bisexual man since 19 then transitioned mtf at 26. I have 0 issue with homosexuality. I might be less homophobic than some strictly gay people. I dont know what the fuck you mean by my personal beliefs. Homosexuality is a common and harmless phenomenon. That doesnt mean that its correct to say that female sexuality is typically oriented towards other women because its not. Thats where the politically motivated bias comes in. Lesbianism is exceptional, not typical, and its not remotely homophobic to say so.

Stuff the politically motivated "oh no we cant say that becauze of the IMPLICATIONS". Im talking about the difference between real and what we want to be real. Of course homosexuality is okay, morally speaking. It may even be natural in a sense that its had staying power in the course of the human condition and may even have evolved due to environmentally motivated biological pressures. That doesnt mean that its the normative design. Its an exceptional design as evidenced by the fact that only approx 4 percent of the population experiences it.
