Most Jamaicans are Catholic.

Wrong. Most Jamaicans are Protestant, especially Anglican. Jamaican Catholics are generally of "ethnic" (German, Chinese, or Lebanese/Syrian) extraction.

So you can advocate the same war crimes we hanged people for in WWII and not be evil? Here's how I see it.

Lawful good = Kasich, Neutral good = Sanders, Chaotic good = Paul.
Lawful neutral = HRC, true neutral = Jeb/Rubio, Chaotic neutral = Carson.
Lawful evil = Cruz, Neutral evil = Christie, Chaotic evil = TRUMP

There are so many ways that it could've gone the other way:

Soviet Ukrainians do not invent ENIAC, the first computer, in 1946. Without computing power central planning would be nigh impossible.

Gorbachev is 30 years younger and doesn't take over immediately from Stalin. Another repressive tyrant like (Marx forbid) Khrushchev could've been disastrous.

The Cuban Missile Crisis doesn't lead to the paranoid US government invading Grenada, Dominica, and Anguilla, the third while it was still a British colony, in a search for reds. The UK choosing to ally with Moscow over Washington was a death blow to NATO, and without US dominance the Soviet Union cleaned up nicely.

The best position for Bernie would be something like the J Street position. Proudly identify as pro-Israel and pro-Zionism but distance yourself from Netanyahu.

Someone would've found out about it regardless. Heck, they learned about the one time Haldeman called Muhammad Ali a "nigger" during a drunken White House party, so of course the press would find out if Nixon was involved.

Have you been living under a rock? Obama was the guy elected in 2008 after Romney was forced to not seek reelection after his wife was indicted for tax evasion. Didn't win reelection though after the tax evasion charges turned out to be politically motivated, making Romney the first president since Cleveland to serve two non-consecutive terms.

Israel

More divisive than you think among Jews, but those Jews who are pro-Israel are more emphatically pro-Israel than any other group (possibly with the exception of some Evangelical sects). Income, education, and the preponderance of urban/suburban residents are as big if not more so.

Do not attack Clinton personally, her experience, or her judgement.

I agree on the first. Judgment and experience are (or should be!) part of every hiring hiring decision, and we should think of the competition between these two as a hiring decision for the once-in-a-lifetime position of Dem nominee.

If Bloomberg isn't a moron, the scheme is so convoluted that Mike himself cannot be convicted beyond a reasonable doubt, or at least can't be convicted of anything that he cannot plead down to house arrest. About a half dozen Bloomberg employees are convicted of assorted felonies, including the terminals' programmer and a mid-tier exec. The Bloomberg company pays a fat fine.

FutureWhatIf 内の zachar3 によるリンク [FWI] Putin sells sparsely populated Siberian land to China

[–]selfhatingyank 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Let's assume that the land has no known resources; Russia is selling it for the cash and China is buying it for the timber and freshwater. It depends on whether the land is actually incorporated into China or simply is sold to a state-owned LLC while remaining on Russian soil. The former could face opposition from Russian nationalists and might even get Putin assassinated, undoing all the political capital he built up with the popular but shady reunification of Crimea. The latter would be fairly uncontroversial and is a big part of how governments in China finance themselves.
