THE RULES
1 - With the exception of Throwback Thursdays, only songs and videos released within the last month can be posted. Check beforehand if the song you want to post has been posted already. Please use the Artist - Song title format. Only one throwback post per person per week.
2 - Use one of the following tags when appropriate:
- [FRESH] - Stream/video of song released in the last month
- [FRESH VIDEO] - An official video for a song that had already been
released. A song that debuts with a video would still use the
[FRESH] tag
- [FRESH STREAM] - Any newly released stream of a project longer than a single track
- [DISCUSSION] - Posts that are starting a discussion
- [ORIGINAL] - Music you created
- [LEAK] - Thread announcing that an album has leaked. No speculative leaks, be certain before you post it
- [THROWBACK] - A video or discussion of a song from yesteryear. Only to be used on Thursdays.
3 - Do not post illegal streams or downloads of songs/albums. Asking for a PM or posting instructions on how you can get it is also not allowed. Bans will be given out for non-compliance.
4 - Picture posts that are not newsworthy are banned. We'll figure out in the future where you can put them.
5 - Generally, we're going to keep the genre of pop here vague, as we believe you guys (the users here) are smart enough to realize what should and shouldn't be posted here. Usually we'll try to focus on more mainstream pop, but indie pop artists such as CHVRCHES or Grimes are free reign.
6 - Please do not come here for the sole reason of harassment/flaming. Keep things civil. Use of discriminatory language isn't appreciated.
