That's the scam, we keep paying in with more revenue but they keep charging more to the account. Politicians are stupid. They have no monetary experience. Their only experience is persuading people. The government has record revenue but keeps going into deficits. I could avoid that if I was in office. Sure it would hurt but eventually we would be a better country. Sadly this would hurt their votes so it will never happen. That's why we need term limits.

Term limits for Congress are one of the worst ideas advanced by people who "want to hold people accountable".

By setting term limits you ensure that the only people who actually understand how the system works are lobbyists and unelected officials who can then influence the newly appointed delegates.

So many incredibly respected people have come out against them that you should really reconsider your position.

Also... the old "all the politicians are retards... not like me... if I was the president I'd fix everything". Nobody has ever said that before. It shows how truly little you actually understand of a very very complex system.
