Isn't a 'bad' thread better than no thread? Personally I don't give a squat what is in the OP, I just want a place to discuss other games from a United perspective. If quality threads are going to be made instead then great, but if it's the case that they aren't made (which is quite likely I suspect if you require them to be done by kick off.. you get people "owning" the threads and then sometimes they can't do it and it becomes a clusterfuck) then I don't see how that helps anyone. Even a shit thread is better than 90% of what is posted here on a non match-day.

As bad as my predictions tonight turned out to be, there is no such thing as jinxing. Our comments have no impact on the result. It's a good space for discussion on non-United match days. The fanbase doesn't look stupid, individual fans who get it wrong (like myself) do. Just my two cents on the matter.

I genuinely thought Liverpool had no chance tonight, but they proved me wrong. They looked down and out against a terrific side. Fair play to them.

No. Jinxing obviously doesn't happen, it's about low quality, gloating posts that add no good discussion. People should put up a thread before game or as it starts, not just when someone is losing.
