What is Kozē?
Kozē is an inflatable couch that you can carry and use anywhere. Inspired by dry storage bags traditionally used for camping, Kozē is a comfortable, lightweight, and affordable sofa that travels! Kozē can be easily inflated by capturing air in the openings and folding it closed. A plastic snap keeps it air tight while you enjoy! It is the perfect companion for the beach, college grass quads, music festivals, or a hike through the woods.
It was designed so that whenever you want to relax, you can get Kozē in a cinch. Patent Pending.

Where can I use Kozē?
Anywhere. We have extensively tested Kozē in a wide range of environments from rocky mountaintops to arid dessert heat. You can even get Kozē in a pool. Fun right?!
What colors does Kozē Come in?
We'll initially launch the College Blue Kozē to meet our Minimum Order Requirements (MOQ). As we sell more, we'll hopefully be able to offer additional colors, including Red, Black, Purple, Green. The Skys the Limit!
Kozē Features
A high quality, parachute fabric, double membrane keeps your Kozē safe from the elements. Your Kozē weighs less than two pounds and can be inflated up to 6 feet long. It can be easily deflated in less than 10 seconds. Is it possible to be too Kozē?

Kozē will stay inflated up to 6 hours and supports a weight of up to 400 pounds.

Kozē is made of high quality components including a dual layer support system comprised of Parachute material and high-stress stitching. Hey, if you can jump out of a plane in it, we want it.

The Kozē Story
Like all good inventions, Kozē was born out of necessity. While on a hiking trip with some good friends in Asheville, North Carolina, we were struggling after a couple miles of waterfall hiking. When we finally made it to our campsite, we instantly grabbed our favorite hammocks and searched for some trees. The problem was, John ended up on the other side of the campsite, and another friend couldn't even find any trees at all!
While we ate dinner John sat on a couple of bags by our hammocks, his far across the campsite at the closest available trees. We had all but forgotten the problem. That's when we noticed, John was just as comfortable as all of us, perched on his inflated dry storage bag.
If it were only just a little bigger...Eureka.
It was time to get Kozē.
The Kozē Team (Experience)
Made In College is a full service accelerator that takes ideas and builds them from into full-fledged businesses from scratch. It starts with a simple idea submitted by anyone. After the idea is run by a board of directors and potentially approved based on a variety of factors including viability, time to market, patentability, and more, it is assigned to a project lead who oversees the idea from conception to delivery. This process can take as little as two weeks to as long as two years depending on how developed the submitted idea is.
We've brought a myriad of CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) and tech products to market and continue to stand behind our products as they emerge in larger retailers and online stores. We love Kickstarter

June 11, Surveys sent out.
June 17, As payments clear, orders ship!

Risks and challenges
Many KickStarter projects deliver late. It's a known fact. Many factors can cause delays, from manufacturing issues, receiving amazon payments late, shipping courier problems for international backers, to sheer number of backers.
That being said, we've already prototyped Kozē to an end-user quality--so there is no risk that the backers will be disappointed by the quality of Kozē.
While we hope this process is streamlined, and our manufacturer has everything lined up to produce the product, there may be unforeseen delays. However, we have every impression that we can get Kozē to you as quickly as promised.
We want you to know that if you're a backer. You're family. We're looking out for you. We will deliver what we promise, and we'll bust our a** getting it to you. We got your back. Simple as that.
What we won't do is produce a sub-par product. We put our name on Kozē and don't take that opportunity lightly. We promise to keep you in the loop during the process so you feel this product is just as much your creation as it is ours!

We will send a survey at the end of the campaign and you will have the option to choose a color for EVERY Kozē you order. Get one of each color if you want!

Absolutely. Kozē is full of air after all! We love lounging in the water with it, it's perfect for the Quarry or backyard pool. We are required to state that it is not a flotation device and is not certified or used as such.

A folded Kozē in its carrying bag is 18 cm x 34 cm (7in x 14in) . An inflated Kozē is 220 cm x 90 cm (86in x 36in).

Great question! We've put a couple adults on one and bounced around a ton, stressing the upper weight tolerances. Still good! Kozes are very durable, can be washed, and have a dual layer membrane for extra strength!
Naturally people jump and bounce on them, and they hold up perfectly!
Sharp rocks, not so much unfortunately!
