When we went to France 5 years ago, Twingos were everywhere. As an American, I'd never heard of them. I was appalled that this crappy little car was so ubiquitous in what I had thought was a modern country. But it was educational that many French put no value at all on their cars, looking at them as completely utilitarian items they want to spend as little money on as possible.
