Just got this comment dropped on me and I was stunned.

No, resistence should not be common in sexual encounters unless there is a consensual power play exchange happening.

RP guys, is this actually how you view sex?

Still kind of shocked me that any guy can go through life expecting to have to force their way through resistence (verbal or physical) for sex. It's not healthy, nor is it normal, and is borderline illegal.

I don't really know; I can't speak for individual experiences outside of my own. I've never had to overcome LMR.

I think it's supposed to occur when having one-night stands. The idea is that women believe they should not be easily bedded, but they still want to, and it's the job of the man to recognize that internal conflict and solve that problem for her, and there are various ways to do that.

It's common, but no way in the majority. It's not forcing, but more convincing her that it's what she wants if she becomes hesitant(due to any number of reasons).

If you like fucking many women, and don't want to waste more than a date or so getting to know them, then you'll encounter LMR every now and then.

There's no physical force involved. That'd be rape. It's not illegal because you're convincing her to consent very legally.
