I'm predicting:
Man utd 2 - 0 Villa
Man utd 1-1 Palace
Man Utd 0-1 Leicester
Norwich 0-1 Man utd
West Ham 1-1 Man utd
Man utd 1-0 Bournemouth
So from those 6 I'm predicting 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss. Based on how we've done this year I'd be content with that.

Can you imagine losing to Villa though? and then winning the rest. Content with that? lol

I'll go with scores and results:

  • Man utd 3 - 0 Villa ...It's Villa

  • Man utd 1-0 Palace ... Struggling Palace will be hard but not concerned.

  • Man utd 2-1 Leicester ... Controversial scoreline maybe but I think our home advantage will secure a win but It might be 1-1.

  • Norwich 0-1 Man utd ... after losing to them already this season, I think we will rectify, not in a fashionable way but still a win.

  • West Ham 2-2 Man utd ... hardest score to call IMO. I think the outcome tonight will play a role in the result.

  • Man utd 3-1 Bournemouth ... same story as Norwich but we have that home advantage and the last game of the season, which might be crucial depending on the City results prior.

I really doubt we'll go without losing in the final 6 matches. Could easily see us losing to Norwich and/or Palace but beating Leicester 3-1.

If Norwich do the double over us, they'll be happy for starters, but that will be a major win for them staying up.

I don't particularly think they are optimistic estimations, I think asking any outsider they would probably agree on most of them.

The only ones I would scratch are maybe West ham and Leicester but I do think we will be ok with the smaller teams for once.

We've broken so many records over the last 3 years. I wonder when the last time Norwich beat us twice in the same season. It could definitely happen.

I know I've used the "home advantage" rationale in my predictions but I would like to note that on the contrary, some teams will perform better at O.T just because it's a massive stage. Some teams crumble under that pressure and some eat it up and try their best.

I feel that playing Norwich at their ground nullifies that and for that reason only, I think we'll snatch the win.

RE to the record breaking - My thoughts on that are, SAF was here for such a long time and managed to sustain beating teams and doing doubles over them consecutively. Out of x amount of games he played against any given opponent and won, it was always inevitable that we would lose at some point. That point has come post-SAF era so to me it's really no surprise. If he was still here, I'd imagine some teams would have broken those records against us anyway.

I would take those results in a heartbeat

Maybe it's time we start accepting that we no longer have the caliber of players we did under Fergie, neither do we have the man himself. It's starting to get ridiculous to consistently compare everything to Fergie. It's not replicable. He was a once in a lifetime kind of manager and we did have our fair share of WC talents at each point in time.

At the moment we have neither. Our manager doesn't do anything remotely close to how Fergie does it, neither do we have any of the caliber of players. Moreso, there are no managers on the market that do anything how Fergie does it or can even come close to replicating his success. We are trying to find a new way to reach success. Simply saying "just do things how Fergie did them" is silly because well we don't have Fergie. We need to find a new way of doing things that'll work. Regardless of that new way, it's inevitable to find success at the highest levels without world class caliber players. We obviously lack that right now, so it's best to remain realistic and taper our expectations to our current situation.

Surely there are attempts being made to rectify our current situation, but it does no good to consistently compare everything to Fergie.
