MGTOW has completely replaced religion for me I even have my own 10 commandments, and it is not as harmful as the traditional values that come with religion, I guess my point is has anyone made MGTOW their way of life completely eliminating all other influences, I can proudly say I think “Mgtow,Mgtow,Mgtow” when dealing with anyone, and any situation. MGTOW for me is a way of life, and a way of thinking i’m not sure if some people considering it just a philosophy?!

Yes, MGTOW is my Religion.  I live and breath MGTOW every day, never going back.  I am living in haven as MGTOW man now and will die and go to haven as a MGTOW man.  God who is also a MGTOW man will welcome me into MGTOW haven.

I have been a MGTOW for past five years.

Here are my Top 3 Rules or ideals I follow every day to live a happy MGTOW life.

    1. NO ONE CAN EVER TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD OR SHOULD NOT DO. IT’S MY LIFE, MY BODY, MY MIND, MY HEART AND MY SPIRIT. I DO ONLY WHAT I CHOOSE TO DO. I AM HAPPY BY MY OWN CHOICE. NO ONE CAN COME IN THE WAY OF DOING WHAT I LOVE DOING.

    2. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY OWN ACTIONS. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY WOMEN, GOVERNMENT OR FAMILY OBLIGATIONS. WOMEN AND SOCIETY CAN CALL ME SELFISH, I DON’T CARE WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT ME. I LOVE WHO I AM AND I ENJOY WHAT I DO AND BELIEVE IN. I ONLY HELP MY FELLOW MEN TO LIVE HAPPY LIVES ALONE WITHOUT ANY WOMEN.

    3. IF PEOPLE IN MY LIFE DO NOT MAKE ME HAPPY, THEY ARE OUT OF MY LIFE IMMEDIATELY. ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME IS MY HAPPINESS. I DO NOT TOLERATE ANY WOMEN THAT CAUSES UNHAPPINESS IN MY LIFE OR COMES IN THE WAY OF ACHIEVING MY BIG DREAMS.

“Finally convinced that a life of sensuality would lead to unhappiness, Buddha determined to leave and seek spiritual happiness in the “deathless state of nirvana” And so he found that “in the free air is freedom from the world”. Tow Lowenstine from the book, Buddhist Inspirations

My 10 Rules I Follow As a Proud MGTOW Man
    1.  I AM IN-CHARGE OF EVERY SINGLE DECISION I MAKE, NO WOMEN WILL EVER TELL ME WHAT TO DO.
    2. I WILL REMAIN SINGLE FOREVER, FREE, HAPPY AND SUCCESSFUL IN LIVING MY DREAM LIFE.
    3. I WILL NOT EVER LET FEMALE’S DISTRACT ME WITH THEIR DRAMA, NEEDINESS, CONTROLLING, SELFISH ACTS.
    4. I WILL FEARLESSLY TALK ABOUT THE INJUSTICE FEMALE’S ARE CAUSING TO ALL MEN.  I WILL ALWAYS SPREAD THE WORD ANY WHERE EVERY WHERE.
    5. I WILL ALWAYS TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE CHOICES I MAKE AND PAY THE PRICE FOR MY ACTIONS.
    6. I WILL SPEAK FROM THE HEART AT ALL TIMES, SHOW INTEGRITY, HONESTY, COMPASSION, KINDNESS TO FELLOW MEN.
    7. I WILL BE A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR YOUNGER MEN TO FOLLOW, SO THEY CAN BE HAPPY, FREE AND SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE.
    8. I AM ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP ANY AN WHO NEED MY HELP.  I BELIEVE GIVING UNCONDITIONALLY TO THOSE WHO DESERVE IS TRUE HAPPINESS.(MOST FEMALE DON’T DESERVE IT)
    9. I WILL REMAIN A MGTOW FOR LIFE, TILL DEATH.
10.I WILL DIE FOR WHAT I BELIEVE IN, TRUTH WILL ALWAYS SET ME FREE.  GO MGTOW, LIVE LONG AND PROSPER.

Interesting analogy. Ray recently started a topic on “the ten commandments” (of MGTOW) and I have seen a parallel made before. But it should be stressed MGTOW shouldn’t even be compared to any form of religion, or even a “replacement”. Religion is a form of controlled thought, but it’s also a belief system.

    •••

So “the ten commandments” of MGTOW can only be regarded as “Rays ten commandments”. or “Old at Heart’s 10 commandments”.

Religion is a personal belief system. But MGTOW is entirely based in reality and a practical way of life with tangible results. After all, the Bible says “thou shalt not kill” but more men have been killed “in the name of God” than for any other reason.

A MGTOW commandment says “ignore bitches, acquire money”, and that’s something which actually works.

So it’s still entirely possible to be a religious MGTOW. Any “ten commandments of MGTOW” are purely for entertainment purposes and to elaborately show (in 10 bullet points) a theatrical way of illustrating some of the fundamental concepts. But that’s all it is.

To answer your question… I’m not a “religious” man anymore, although I was baptized and confirmed. For many years I “PFFT” the concept of “God”. But “God” has come to mean something else to me: It is the natural order of things. The way things ought to be. The very basics of right and wrong. Female and male nature as nature intended them to be. Animals were born with it. We all were. It’s not a man in the sky. It’s not an apple and a tree. But we still see Adam and Eve play out in divorce courts across the country – where a woman destroys a man’s paradise. That first story in the bible was written for a REASON.

Isn’t it funny that the symbol on my computer is an Apple – with one bite taken out of it.

I am only sharing my own personal religion that keeps me free, content, happy every day.  I don’t want any one to follow my religion, it’s best you create your own religion for yourself that makes you feel content and happy on own your own terms.  I am sharing it just because it might give some new creative ideas for other men on this forum.  These rules that I follow is just for myself, so don’t take it personally, make your own personal religion for yourself.  I only follow what feels right form.  You should follow what feels right from you.

Hey Ray, Everyone understands that. A dozen other guys listed their personal commandments too. The “ten commandments of MGTOW” may even be more valuable and WORK better than those in the bible! Commandments are useless if one doesn’t put them into practice. So It’s FAR better to write your own!

I would not say that MGTOW is my religion. I would be wary of making anything a belief though. Chris Rock in Dogma said it best I think.

Turning a good idea into a belief opens it up to being exploited or to you being manipulated. Best to keep it an ever shifting idea so it can adapt to any situation.

    Hi OldAtHeart,

I can proudly say I think “Mgtow,Mgtow,Mgtow” when dealing with anyone, and any Situation

The same here, absolutely the same here, and of course when you think Mgtow you can dealing with anyone and any situation.

For me it is also a way of life, that is sure. The word Philosophy, mmh,  I don’t want to use it for Mgtow because it sounds too mellow and going my own way is strength and permanence. The way of Life sounds more powerfully and it is a courageous act.

I’ve never been religious, so this is not an Option.

MGTOW my way of Life, YEAH !!!!

    CHEERS !!!

Powerful words from Chris Rock, and he is right humans will forever refuse to “live and let live”, many cannot deal with people having beliefs different from their own. I often see people calling beliefs wrong, but an ideal defies the laws of right, and wrong one set of ideals does not fit all this is the only issue I have with religion it enforces the “only this way is right” way of thinking.

Religion means a whole lot more to me than most folks I’ve met, and I’m not religious anymore.
Being raised in a very strict cult mentality and with extensive knowledge of the bible and understanding it means that there really is nothing that can take religions place in my life; simply because I refuse to allow it such power. Until I turned 20, my religion not only dictated my beliefs, but my actions and even my very thoughts.
MGTOW I suppose can be considered a form of religion given it also is a way of life; but where it is so vastly and gloriously different is that it is not dictated by old men from a pulpit TELLING you how it should be. An MGTOW not only HAS his free will, but is endorsed and encouraged to USE it to the fullest.

Great Clip from a Great Underrated Kevin Smith Movie!

MGTOW is an Practical Idea which constantly challenges me to Not Fall For the Traditional Bullshiet that Puts Me Last and Puts Someone else first (i.e. Pussy Hoe, Wife, Job, Boss, Kids, Family).

Though I have referenced ‘religious thought” in some of my posts (mostly notably Buddhism and Hinduism),  I prefer to focus more on evaluating ideas than getting caught up in Dogma.  That’s what I like about this forum: It allows for the free flow of Ideas about Men learning To Go Their Own Way.

I really don’t know what I can say for myself at this point.  I have made every effort to maintain the original 10 commandments in my youth and from doing so was given enough light to see through most of the lies we were all raised with.  So I cannot say religion has hurt my MGTOW status.

However, I do resonate with the anger of many of the Athiests when I can point out most of the abuses from “the pulpit”.  One has to remember though, that any religion that endorses feminism or modern culture is conforming more with modern culture, rather than its root beliefs.

Religion is a fact of life and integral part of the nature of man.  Even “irreligious men” often time follow religious rituals of their own designs for their own purposes.

I think most men leave religion simply because they see the hypocrisy of its followers.

Others because of some personal loss they blame God for.

Others to fit in with a social group.

But I think that many men leave because of their own pride.  I think many men say to themselves “look what world I have created with my own will.  From my own hands I have created this.  Why do I need God?”  And that world we created is why many of us are MGTOW to begin with.

We got confused with all the noise we created.  Our own accomplishments confused us more than religion itself.  For example, there was the problem of starvation.  We developed a system to grow more crops.  The system worked.  We grew more crops.  But their is more starvation than ever before.

We claimed religion caused war.  We got rid of God as a form of power in all institutions world wide.  Now we have had multiple world wars, possibly a third coming up, and there seems to be no end in sight.

So to answer the question: No mgtow has not replaced my religion, I am not sure it can replace anything.  Rather is compliments.  At the end of the day it is about maintaining man’s dignity. Period.

For those of you who said it has, I am sure it did.  Most of the religions today are so polluted by the culture that they are just extensions of the corporate state.  It is a dark time, where men follow their own desires because we do not know who or what to trust any more.  We can’t even point to ourselves because the world and all its affairs is the evidence that damns us.

My religious beliefs have so far been strengthened as a result of MGTOW – by beginning to recognize my own intrinsic value and worth via MGTOW, I am more accommodating of accepting the notion of an eternal being that also sees my intrinsic value, loves me, etc. I focus on my own needs and those of my kids, because life is precious. I think also though it goes hand in hand with my voluntarism streak and libertarian tendencies. I’ve also mellowed the f*ck out considerably though and no longer feel the need to force any of my beliefs on anyone.

I think that comparing MGTOW to religion is too dubious a connection. Religious ideology is intertwined with the supernatural whereas MGTOW ideology is based upon observable behavior. It is more accurate for me to say that MGTOW has considerably affected my guiding PHILOSOPHY and rekindled the self-worth that was lost all those years ago. All I know is that I won’t burn for eternity in a lake of fire if I turn my back on MGTOW, I will only burn for as long as I’m alive here on earth 😉

nope, mine hasnt. cos i joined this site as the CHURCH OF TUPAC…of course, 2pac, after 400yrs of slavery and the FBI COINTELPRO seeking to ‘prevent the rise of a black messiah’, gave up his life via an altercation with a Crip in the ‘City of Sin’ Las Vegas, becoming SACRIFICIAL BLOOD IN THE PLACE OF SIN….MAKAVELI THA DON KILLUMINATI.

of course, that is just like Exodus, how after 400yrs of captivity and the government seeking to fuck up the next generation (hence Moses being put in the basket) which led to the passover and the SACRIFICIAL BLOOD IN THE PLACE OF SIN, progressing to God making his new covenant courtesy of his OWN 10 commandments.

of course, the passover served as the foreshadow for Jesus in his times…and, if u put a Bible in context, Jesus CAME SOON  4 the lost of his nation in THAT GENERATION that wouldnt pass, pay 4 it all, with some who witnessed him never 2 taste death b4 being taken up into the air to be with the Lord 4ever, 70AD when the temple in Jerusalem was destroyed as prophesied.
