Giggs has been assistant manager for 2 years now, not some ball boy. Everyone knows that he is a legend that showcases our history.
LVG once stated "I don't know why fans shout attack, attack, attack". To me this sums up that Giggs has not done enough to show his involvement over the past 2 seasons.
I understand that Giggs may not have enough authority in coaching to dictate the way Man Utd currently play. However, doesn't Giggs have enough power as the second boss to even explain to LVG regarding expectations of our club?
Could it be that Giggs thinks he has done enough by maybe encouraging LVG to promote youth?
I understand that we won't know exactly what is happening behind the scenes in training, but I would like to see discussion based on the fact that Giggs is second in charge of this club for 2 seasons now. Should he not also share the blame?
I know it's not the job of assistant manager to discuss performance on the pitch, but why has he not said anything in the line of "We understand their frustration, we are working hard to get back." Please direct me to a quote if Giggs has actually said anything of this sort during this season.
To me, Giggs is just hiding at the back, sitting quietly and hoping that people think he is an innocent assistant coach being held back. I can understand if its a random coach who may leave, but Giggs is attempting to become the next manager.
Do you 'accept the fact that we don't know what is happening behind the scene' or 'believe that Giggs has not shown enough intent/involvement' ?
