Just wondering, does anyone know which match Memphis made his last start in? (self.reddevils)

I'm just genuinely curious, does anyone know which match was actually his last start? I hate seeing him get subbed on for the last 10 minutes of every other match. Every match day I hope to see him starting on the left for once (and Martial up top but that's a different topic) and I feel like it's been forever since he got a shot at some decent minutes.

His last start was in the 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the first-leg of the Europa League on March 10. Since then he has played a total of 29mins as a substitute on two occasions:

  • March 13 - FA Cup vs. West Ham - Substitute 14mins
  • March 17 - Europa League vs. Liverpool - Unused substitute
  • March 20 - EPL vs. Man City - Unused substitute
  • April 3 - EPL vs. Everton - Unused substitute
  • April 10 - EPL vs. Spurs - Substitute 15mins

Quite strange, because you would think with his display against Midtylland (briliant) and Arsenal (quite good), he would be a sure starter in the next matches, but of course there's van Gaal.

Where would he have fit in? Martial is undroppable and Rashford deserved a place more.

Put Rashford on the right. Mata in the middle and play Martial up top. It's not that hard to put players in their primary positions.

Because he's a talent that needs to adjust to the league. Give him game time and he'll adjust. Give him game time and theres a pretty high chance he will be a powerhouse for us?

But for now we need to win. He was given so much time at the start of the season, LVG kept starting him even though he was so much shit. I was starting to pull my hair out seeing him in the starting lineup every week.

Every match I hope he is not starting. We also have a better LW in Ashley Young. He is faster, smarter, more creative, faster thinker, better dribbler, better passer, more workrate and better defending.
