Has any other top team had as much change as us in such a short time? (self.reddevils)

I know i'm using Futhead, but this is the best tool for making a squad that I know, also i'm not using their FIFA ratings to make my point.

Has there been a team in the history of any top league which has undergone such a huge change in personnel, and come out a with a significantly worse squad?

Don't get me wrong, I think we have some great players, and some fantastic youth coming through, but with the way its going at the moment, there is no way the team we have could dream of achieving what Fergie's last squad could, especially with the outrageous tactics LVG has been deploying, for example:

Young at ST, Martial at LW, when it should be the other way round, Rojo at LB and Blind at CB, Mata at RW, Rashford at RW, Depay never given a chance, Herrera never used, Fellaini being used at all (and staring even when we had other more capable players available), Januzaj getting loaned out for no reason, Pereira not getting a look in, Varela getting dropped for one bad performance, but it seems to be different for Fellaini, Blind, Rooney, Mata, Lingard, Rashford; amongst many other things.

In summary, this change to our club has been so unprecedentedly massive, and I fear we might not recover if we keep LVG for another season

I think the massive amount of change is down to the fact that there was no proper plan for the post SAF era (give it to Moyes to continue SAF's work is not good planning), there is no proper plan to refresh the squad (unlike Pochettino who had a clear plan at both Southampton and Tottenham to enhance and improve the squad) and there appears to be no plan for the future apart from the commercial side of the club (which requires the CL to ensure the full sponsorship amount from Adidas). With proper planning and a long term strategy, this turmoil might not of happened. But I suppose this is what happens when accountants are put in charge of sporting decisions.
