I completely agree the concern about values is legitimate, and as an Indian man, I face the same pre-conception initially from most American women I go on dates with.
I think the only stable solution is keep playing the numbers game, while respecting individual choices. There's enough American women out there who realize there are a handful of non-european men who indeed share their values, to make the game worth it.
