Christians are Usually Happy
When you live your life through Jesus, you are often extremely happy and fulfilled. This causes jealousy from those who are not happy and makes them sad in their heart. They often lash out at Christians when we try to lead them to God simply because they are just so darn unhappy.
Deep Down Atheists Know God is Real
Atheists know in their heart that God is real. You know that overwhelming feeling of joy that you get when having fellowship? Atheists never get to experience that. Plus, they know that in the end God is going to have to punish their wicked ways. Could you imagine going through life knowing that you when you die you are going to place far away from everything you love?
Atheists Just Want to Keep Sinning
Atheists choose not to acknowledge God because they want to continue sinning. When Christians tell them about the Good News of Free Salvation, they become hostile because they know that one day they will have to answer for their sins.
How to Handle Atheists
As Christians we always need to be trying to help atheists see the light. Obviously, if you encounter an aggressive atheist you should try to reason with them and show them God’s love. If they become combative or violent then just walk. Never, under any circumstances make them feel as if there is no hope for them. Make sure they know that if they turn to God, He will accept them.
