I hope she's never captured

What's shitty about stuff like this is that the opposition will bump her up on the "capture, rape, behead" list for propaganda reasons.

Hope she keeps kicking ass.

I hope she can leave the war behind, enroll in a college on a safe campus, get offended at graffiti and express herself however she'd like.

To me, that would be preferable to getting shot at in the desert.

You don't leave a war behind. You win it.

Tell that to the rapefugees in Europe.

Wouldn't you rather violate another countries fairer sex while collecting welfare than to actually fight to preserve the safety of yours? It's much easier to go to Europe and become a protected class than to be a hero for your people

Some people use Europe as a home for going on and terrorizing and being in ISIS. They stay here get housing and welfare, then they go behead some people. When they come back we treat them like victims.

It's a small minority, a certain percentage of the total "refugees" that will actively murder bite the hand that feeds them. The overwhelming majority have no excuse to flee their homes and let stone aged barbiarian death cults take their homeland

Exactly this, if Western culture is so weak we'll roll over for this shit and they're smart enough to take advantage of it then Western culture deserves to be wiped out.

Only those without means of self preservation, those who willingly gave up their privileges to own firearms for a false sense of security

Those who willingly give up their right to arms and allow the government and state a monopoly on the legitimate use of force are also those most likely to support the Islamization of the West.

The Korean War started less than 5 years later.. The way that WWII was poorly resolved led to the communist occupation of eastern europe, the re-continuation of the Chinese Civil War, various decolonization wars, and also the beginning of the Israeli-Arab conflicts

Here are a bunch of people who didn't

War isn't glamorous. War is a result of necessity because the alternative is worse.

There's still value in dying for what you believe in. A long life does not always mean a quality life.

No life guarantees a lack of a quality life however. I wish people would stop posting pictures of this girl and putting her in danger.

If you have a belief worth dying for, like the freedom from ISIS expansion into your homeland, then there is value in laying down your life for it. Even if we don't live to reap the rewards of our actions it is still possible that our families or the people we care about will. Hedonism is fine and dandy until there's no more green pastures to migrate to because they've all been destroyed by people willing to get their hands dirty.

I wish people would stop posting pictures of this girl and putting her in danger.

Yeah I agree with that part. She's going to be on the enemies shitlist because of the social media but it's likely that she would be on the shitlist anyway because of that whole "if you're killed by a woman you won't go to heaven" bit of Islam.

Depends. I'm not certain, since I've never been in a war... But I'd have a hard time leaving a war behind if my family members were also left behind and still being shot at.

[–]Fap_Left_Surf_RightIL 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

They're cowards who ran and left their own families behind. Their families who will be raped, enslaved, and murdered. I cannot believe Europe is treating them with any amount of respect. They are the lowest rung of human life and not a one of them qualifies as a man.

It pisses me off to think that we could have stopped much of this. The be headings, the drownings, the crucifixions, the death by fire. It all could have been prevented by a strong Commander in Chief.

There are situations where war is justified. There is a time for decent nations to stand up for the innocent. There is a time for nations to stand up against inhumanity and the horrific deeds of madmen.

Many conflicts that the United States have fought, may have been unjustified and wrong but this isn't one of them. These innocent people deserve the help of our military might and ISIS deserves to feel the full force of that might.

History will judge our country. They will condemn us for sitting by and watching this genocide unfold.

Then they would be dumb for not seeing that we didnt conquer the entire world after WW2 like we easily could have, consodering we had a massive navy that had just destroyed all the others, an air force that coukd be transported by that navy, and unmatched nuclear weapons amd the will to use them. Instead, we tore apart our planes and tanks and spent time and money rebuilding our enemies' nations. Its a situation the Khans, Greeks, Romans or Ottoman empre would've loved to find themselves in so they couod infact conquer the entire world. We are the first world power to have the ability to take over the entire planet, but instead chose to give it back to the people.

We have alot of problems in America, but its pretty easy to see that its still the best nation to ever exist, both in strength and compassion, and history will remember.

Nah, that is just nonsense you hear from western media outlets. The same untrustworthy outlets that say nonsense like that ISIS hates being called Daesh and shit. They basically are just making stuff up.

I don't think they believe in shit these guys. They're drugged down and jacked up on coke and don't care if the other side is a drone in the sky or a woman or nobody, just them blowing themselves up.

Not her in particular, but it's sad to say that dozens of girls like her are captured every day by ISIS. The good looking ones aren't killed for months as they're used pretty much as rape/torture meat.

  • Realize free undergrad us mostly useless

Why's that the case?

I finished school with a degree in Computer Science. Most of what I learned was at home on my own. All a bachelors gets you is a job you hate for mediocre pay. People always acted like you need college to get a good job, where mine has been slowly killing me inside for the last 4 years.

You're right but you miss the piece of the puzzle where a university degree helps demonstrate your ability to work and get stuff done. Of course you can learn CS at home and a lot of people do, but employers like to see some evidence that you can handle deadlines and a more or less rigid schedule.

You need a Masters degree. You just spent 16 years in school but just 2 more would have provided a much better outcome.

Talk to a recruiter. As I understand it thoes deployments were available during the Iraq war. Maybe.

4 years is the usual but some jobs require 5 years. But the only 5 year contracts I've seen have all been on the aviation side which is due to the amount of schooling they go through.

My brother trained Kurds a few years ago when he toured Iraq. So good to see that values like self defense and freedom made it to their children!

Kurds, as an Iranian people, have always been a stubborn rugged mountain people with a strong sense of civilization, decency and self-determination yet surrounded by aggressive empires and warlords. Harsh conditions breeds hard people, resilient people.

Except when they oppress the native Assyrian Christian populations, steal their lands from them, attempt to disarm them and terrorize their businesses and people. They are also trying to uproot our history and invent a lot of false claims to back up their positions.

I have a lot of respect for my fellow centipedes because they are open to discussion and willing to research things. The Kurds being this benevolent force is being fed to us by the same sources who feed you the BS about our current political leaders.

Think about that for a second. They are being used as a tool against Bashar Al-Assad to promote more of the western narrative.

They're also the ones that stopped ISIS expansion cold while the Iraqi military was sitting on its hands.

They were also the ones who did the dirty work during the Assyrian genocide.

On one hand I support them because they are fighting IS, but on the other hand they will take North Iraq once IS is defeated and turn it into Kurdistan. They will be oppressing the original Christian population and take their land and villages. So not sure how to feel about this.

Yep. Most people think "well that was 100 years ago" but the problem is, the mentality for some is still there. We lost more than 50% of our population, nobody cares.

Cool, they have girls fighting in their military units, so do we. We also actively have our people who were born and living abroad in places like the US, Australia and parts of Europe try to go back and fight for our cause.

Although the official genocide was during WW1, it has been very consistent for us throughout history to have the Kurds and Arabs massacre us repeatedly. We and the Armenians have been consistent strongholds of Christianity in the middle east for nearly 2 millenia now.

Oh yes it's still going on today. I guess that's the sad truth of living in a country where Islam is the major religion. At that point they just kill anyone who doesn't follow their "rules".

This should be a warning to the west, a warning of what might happen when they don't stop the influx of Muslims.

Saw a documentary about the Kurdish female fighters.. Very moving. And then to see what the Turks do to them once the kill them is appalling. I don't know how every red blooded American is not supporting Trump right now.

I don't know how every red blooded American is not supporting Trump right now.

Because the regressives have been conditioned to politicians that speak with PC rhetoric and believe that speaking in that way makes you righteous and Holy. (Trump isn't PC so left hates him). It's gotten to the point where someone who is being investigated by the FBI can get up on stage, contradict themself on their own policies, declare self-immunity from competitors' "attacks", make up stances on positions (such as gay marriage and abortion) which have been shown, through video evidence, to be false...and still lead the polls for their side. Now, I'm not naming any names, but it would be hilarious if that person became president.

I don't really care what their philosophy is, so long as they keep it inside of their country.

Also - it is noteworthy to draw a comparison between those Kurdish socialists who are fighting bravely... And those pussy Euro-socialists who are letting the barbarians rape their women and children with impunity.

Do you really want to be cheering for communists? These people are not big fans of America either and many blame the gas attacks on Kurds by Hussein on the US who failed to protect and support them.

This simplistic idea that anyone who fights your enemies must be the good guys is how we made the Taliban.

Do you really want to be cheering for communists?

Any Arab who is on board to stop ISIS is worthy of support.

These people are not big fans of America either and many blame the gas attacks on Kurds by Hussein on the US who failed to protect and support them.

Well, can you really blame them? George H Bush fucked them pretty bad. He botched the job the first time around and yes, indirectly, is the reason that Sadam was still around to take retribution against them. Promises were made and the neo-cons left them hanging out to dry.

This simplistic idea that anyone who fights your enemies must be the good guys is how we made the Taliban.

Comparing apples to bananas here... the Kurds aren't interested in the expansionism or the global reign of fundamental Islam. They want their land, their safety and they want to be left the hell alone.

I hope she wipes down that barrel after touching it with her dirty hands. A clean rifle is a happy rifle.

Hahahaha

She is infinitely more bad-ass than me.

Kurdish female sniper

Anybody else think of Sniper Wolf?

And she's probably dead now, bet she wishes she had a safe space.

I go to umich. That shot was embarrassing for everyone. The day after it happened they flooded the diag with people writing chalk all over the place about standing against hate etc etc. All a bunch of bullshit.

Those teens should be grateful of such a peaceful life they were allowed to have. They shouldn't havery to be fighting terrorists.

But instead they burn and step on American flags in front of veterans.

Neither students nor Vets have a 'right not to be offended'. One burned a flag and the other marched with force. I don't think there is any high ground here.

How can I make the argument that this whole "safe space" shit is ridiculous without everybody hating me? I have a lot of SJWs in my class who would argue that certain comments can be offensive... and I agree, they can. But I would argue that people need to toughen up.

This whole culture of everybody being nice to each other and everybody getting offended is ridiculous, and is hindering learning and discussions in my opinion because we're all too afraid to say what we're actually thinking or feeling..

The 'safe space' shit IS ridiculous! Nobody has a right 'not to be offended'. If you really want a safe space, go home.

Does anyone here see the irony about making fun of people doing nothing days after making a photo go to the top of google?

I understand, correct me if I'm wrong, that in recent years the Kurds have been fighting for their own sovereignty in northern Stria, while they have been persistently oppressed by the Syrian and Turkish government. Where exactly do they play into everything, though? Why are they distinctly unique from Turks, Syrians, or any other Arab peoples? How did they get in the situation they're in now?

[–]North_Korean_Spy_ 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

That's a YPJ soldier. The YPJ is a communist, feminist organization.

can't handle it

Never thought I'd see /r/The_Donald praising socialist/communist.

Praising their bravery and fierce opposition to the worldwide islamofascist onslaught isn't an endorsement of their political system or economic philosophy.

They want to be commies, good for them - they are the only ones with the balls to stand up to ISIS.

Say what you want about communist, but at least they know how to fight fascist.

Praising bravery in the face of adversity is different than supporting political beliefs. I don't support communism but I certainly recognize the sacrifice and ferocity of the Soviets and their soldiers against the Nazis.
