Any buses from Manchester to Newcastle (self.reddevils)

Does anyone know if there are any late buses that run from Manchester to Newcastle? Im going for the Palace game, and if I could avoid spending money to stay in Manchester, I'd like to.

Not sure about busses, but have you looked at Virgin Trains? That's how I get from London to Manchester. I believe they have a train for Newcastle at 22:30 or somewhere around there.

I got a Megabus from Newcastle to Manchester last week. It was about £8 so a fraction of the price of the train, and if you book ahead you can get it as cheap as £1!!!. Was a perfectly good experience too, it took four hours which isn't TOO bad if you've got a book or your phone but i'd recommend taking a jumper to sit on because I had a very numb arse by the end due to rather uncomfortable seats. The Manchester station is Shudehill interchange and I'm not sure about the travel from OT to there and you end up just next to the Laing Art Gallery in Newcastle.
