I really fucking hate zen. (self.zen)

But there's nothing better. That's what I fucking hate most. It's the dumbest piece of psuedo-intellectual bullshit, but it's right. Zen services are boring and worthless. I can fucking sit and do nothing at home if I wanted. But I don't. American Zen teachers are nothing more than white upper class hippies looking for a liberal Jesus. But they're enlightened at the same fucking time. Zen is fucking stupid, koans are fucking stupid, and meditation is a waste of time. But I can't stop doing any of them. Zen is stupid. But there's nothing better.

I disagree with you that meditation, American Zen teachers, Zen services, koans, etc are Zen.

Zen is about destroying the root of your thoughts. It's not about any of the services, or teachings, or whatever. It's about finishing the path for yourself and of yourself without any help at all. Completely independently realizing the truth for yourself without relying on the teachings of others that you have read or known or intellectually worked out. There's nothing to any of the services or whatever, Zen is actually all about nothing.

I totally agree that there's nothing better than Zen. How can you get better than Unborn Mind?
