Official Manchester United Mobile App (self.reddevils)

Does anybody here have an idea why United have decided not to create an official mobile app?

As far as I am aware they are one of the few major clubs without an iOS/Android app. This seems very silly in this day and age.

Just wondering is anyone has a little more information, I have tried searching the web, but this only shows me information on the topic from 2+ years ago.

Am I missing something here? The official app of Man United was realised a while back. Maybe it's not available in OP's region. It wasn't available in my region too, but I found the installer file for Android anyway.

They don't have an app in the UK, other countries, I don't know for sure.

There is an official app, but you can't get it in the UK but on Android there are other ways off obtaining it. They however charge monthly for access to videos etc

Idk if you've noticed but United are very far behind in the tech and social media departments. We literally only just got a Facebook page and Twitter in the last 4 years and the website is very outdated. I think an App is asking a little too much from them right now lol.

Why are you being down voted? It seems if someone is critical of the club, they get down voted.

But, you're right. We are extremely far behind other clubs from a social media perspective.

I would like to see a YouTube channel, so we can get clips of training and the players having fun with the coaching staff.

But I agree 200% with you I would love a YouTube channel. So much content to be made that I need to consume.

I don't like City, for obvious reasons, but they have a nice YouTube channel. They upload good content. I don't see why we can't have one.

Their channel is fantastic, the tunnel cam might be one of the best things in footballing YouTube.

Jesus Christ Ed!! Get on it, even the Website is poorly designed compared to other clubs. In an era where all the information is literally at the fingertips this should be basic. However the good news was that someone posted a while back about receiving a letter that addressed the issue of getting a better and improved website hopefully with the new season we get a new website, a new mobile app, a new manager and a new hunger to succeed with our youngsters and oh a new and fit Luke Shaw!

I remember the time, when SAF said twitter is "a waste of time". may have affected by this?
