I've sat AA at a few grounds before and I personally hate it.

The atmosphere is still incredible and it makes it better that you're right up close to the players and the action. However, for me I prefer to see the game as a whole and I feel you can get a better look at how the teams set up and each individual players different role.

However if you get the chance to, I definetly would. I'd sit wherever to go back to OT!

So you basically only see the action for the corner of the field you're in?

Pretty much. You can't see the other end that well

I had a season ticket for row BB for 2 season and absolutely hated it.

Its a terrible view. The pitch is raised so on the second row your eye level is like pitch level and as such you dont get a full overview of the pitch.

Its really bad at OT

Do people stand in those seats or is everyone seated?

Always seated.

Do you happen to have a photo of the pitch from your seat? I really want to go to the game, and don't know if it will be a waste if I choose to sit that close.

I've only sat there a few times. It was fine. Better than sitting at the top of the North stand. Which I've also done. You're not allowed to stand up at OT at all. The only place you can really do it for any length of time is the second tier of the Stretford End.

What's the view like on the back of the North Stand? I can't imagine it's terribly good.

Horrible. The worst thing is that the roof slopes down so you can barely see the south stand. Awful experience.

I always get half price tickets for the back 10 rows in the East Stand Tier 2 and find that as well - can barely see any of the Stretford End.

I sat on the 4th row for our home match against Mitdjilland and loved it. Personally, I felt that having less people in front of me granted me a better view of the match. I was also sitting quite close to our home bench, which gave the experience a bit of a special tough. I'd sat there again without even having to think twice about it.

Worth doing once imo as it is cool being up close, seats further back are better to see the entire game.

I've sat in AA seats before and enjoyed the experience. I'd rather sit mid tier though, so you can get a full view of the game.

Front row at Old Trafford in not a good place to be. The pitch is raised well over a metre above normal 'ground level' that means you're almost looking through the grass (slight exaggeration). 4th row back is ok, but I wouldn't choose anything further forward, however, if it's all you can get it's still Old Trafford.

This is a photo of me in the third row at the Beckham game. Obviously slightly zoomed to cut the heads of the people in the two ahead

When the ball is near you, it's amazing. When it's down the other end it's harder to see what's actually happening. I prefer a bit further back lower tier.

The only match I have been able to go to at Old Trafford we ended up sitting in AA seats. It wasn't awful, but as others have said, the raised pitch does make it hard to see what is going on at the other end. I still had a fantastic time and would sit in those seats every game if I was able to.

You can't really stand up outside of celebrating a goal or during an intense run/shot/cross situation and unfortunately for us, all 4 goals (2-2 draw with West Brom a few seasons ago) were scored at the opposite end of where we were.

Again, if I had the opportunity, I would definitely sit in them again just to be in stadium, but there are certainly much better seats if you can get them.
