Either means he's around for another season or that he's done with football after this season and wants to retire.

Translation isnt really needed. Your title summarizes it perfectly.

And I dont want a DoF. I want Danny Blind gone and someone like Rijkaard

hes staying... I never expected him to leave this season anyway unless it was truly catastrophic like 8th or 7th

You really think we'd keep him if we finished 6th?

[–]Allard1994Blind for Ballon d'Or 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

Not really. 4th is a minimum imo.

He's always said that United is his last job before retirement.

This doesn't mean much, if anything.

Exactly. It's just that I think, people think that he would take that role for a year or so as he might leave United this summer but it would seem if he does leave, it'll be for an earlier retirement instead which is perfectly cool for him and his family anyway.

Algemeen Dagblad is the newspaper

They're pretty reliable

It's not a guy, it's a newspaper. Dagblad = Day paper/magazine (If Dutch is anything like Norwegian).

magazine (If Dutch is anything like Norwegian).

They've got similar roots being Germanic based. Definitely could tell some words are related to Swedish at times too and figure out the meaning when trying to glance through a text. Of course, that's only the case for some words.
