Good job you weren't going to the Middle East, the maximum the squares goes up to is only 8.

Funny, we Europeans feel - on far more solid statistical ground - that with the gun crime levels, visiting the US is like American Roulette.

Most gun crimes in the U.S. Are with unregistered weapons you have nothing to worry about here unless you mess with the wrong people which is like everywhere

Generally, the "wrong people" aren't armed in Europe - and besides, there are plenty of accidental discharges. People who buy guns for self-protection are far more likely to have it kill someone accidentally than on purpose.

ether way, it's unlikely to happen.

There are two kinds of people I see with guns, Cops and hunters on their way to the woods.

I don't think you have to worry quite that much

You have more chances to die from a potted plant falling on your head than a terrorist attack.

Terrorist plants is the real problem no one talks about.

Whoa Europe looks dangerous those Syria and Iraq places don't have bombs so they could be a good holiday destination.

Put a thousand guns in every square and that's how I feel when going to the US.

Ahh yes, traveling through the Mohave and watching the wild herds of ar-15s roam in the twilight.

That's as irrational as OP's post, you won't get shot here unless:

A: you purposefully sought out the worst part of the ghetto, and start showing off money.
B: You do something that makes a cop fear that his life or the life of others is in imminent danger and all other possibilities of peaceful resolution are exhausted.

We can't just walk around with a loaded firearm in our pants because 'Murica, you can't even transport a gun and it's ammunition unless they are on the opposite ends of the vehicle in my state and many others.

As for cops, don't make them think they need lethal force and you won't get it. It's the same as not getting batton'd in the UK or Europe.

Would I visit Europe or the UK right now? Sure. It's improbible that anything would happen during the time I visited, and if something did happen, it's unlikely that I would be anywhere near it.

Let's face it, I could be in a fatal car crash on my way home today. I could have a heart attack or stroke in the next hour. Nothing in this world is without risk, and visiting Europe or the UK isn't that big of a risk.

It's not like we're any safer from attack here at home anyway.

Thanks for the reminder. I'd also be three or four times more likely to be in a lethal car accident in the USA.
