Buy a decent goal scorer

In the correct system and with some consistent minutes under his belt, I don't see why Memphis couldn't be hitting 15 a season. We potentially already have the goals in our squad but we don't know because we play a system that doesn't favor attacking players like Memphis.

We spent an awful lot of money on Martial to play up top and a lesser but still fairly considerable amount on Memphis. It baffles me how quick people are to bin Memphis and play Martial out of his preferred position (not saying you are) just to spunk a ridiculous sum of money on another young player who also isn't quite there yet (Lukaku).

Recently we've been far too reliant on our striker. Look at the teams we've fielded over the past 4 or 5 seasons. All top teams have 3 or 4 goalscorers in their side and we've not had more than 1 (sometimes 2) players you could rely on to hit over 10 league goals. Players like Memphis, James, Mahrez would solve this problem.

We desperately need goalscorers but we don't need another striker IMO, not unless we change system and play 2 up top.
