Feels liked being cheated. This whole project was an eye wash. Certainly didn't wash my clothes. The first month I washed with them seemed alright. Now all clothes come out as dirty as they went in. I've even had people ask me whether I use detergent which is very embarrassing. Extremely disappointed with having backed this project.
Complained about my Balls, HA sorry had to. 2.0 is the new 1.0? lol You think if I say I didn't get the order again They'll keep sending me 1.0 and I resell those on Kickstarter?
Yes, this is like al out half of the projects on Kickstarter just a big money making scam. But Kickstarter will not help you. They get there percentage from every dollar stolen from the backers
Really hoping to see the now 3.0 but using what was sent in mean time... Seem to work well. Did read some where that the difference between using balls and just nothing is hard to tell... But guess this could be affected by hard water vs. soft water.
Question, Anyone know if the recharging is affected by temperature? Says to just leave in the sun after 40 washes but what if where you live the temperature is -20 Celsius/ -4 Fahrenheit
I'm pretty sure this isn't a scam. I got a new pair (without connectivity) for free. These are worth 80 dollars the pair in amazon, we payed 80 dollars for 4 of them. So we actually got double our moneys worth. If we sold them we would make 80 dollars. Not only this but they released their app. If this were a scam they would not have gone through soo much effort.
Is there any difference between Crystal Wash 1.0/2.0 and Biocera Wash Ball (http://biocera.co.kr/washing-ball.html)? Seems to me like the exact same product. Which begs the question, what did you actually do with the funds raised in this Kickstarter? Can you provide a detailed report of R&D efforts, how funds were spent, what experiments did you run and were they successful or not? Lastly, what is the current status of R&D? Your December update made it seem everything was good to go and complete, but now it seems that's not the case at all.
This is really sad. Now I have 2 sets of Crystal Wash packages and an app. I would rather wait and get what I paid for with the connectivity but now I have a bunch of items that I have no proof that actually work until I see the data on the app. This is really disappointing.
We're happy with our Crysral Wash Balls. They work, laundry is clean!
We're pleased with the prompt answers given us from the Crystal Wash Team on particular questions regarding the water hardeness and the use of descaling agents (don't use descaling agents and Crystal Wash together at the same time!)
I did receive my Crystal Wash in December, but it is a manual item at this time...from what I understand these are basically the Crystal Wash 1.0 balls & you can manually track with the App since there's nothing "connected" at this time. Happy to have them, but I'm hoping to still get what I paid for. The letter said the "3.0" will have the connected ability...but the company didn't sound very convincing that they themselves are even sure they can deliver on that, which would be the product we all actually backed & paid into. All-in-all I've received a product that works, just only half of what was promised from what I backed...so I guess it's a wash. (Bad pun intended*) wishing the company well though & hope they are able & do end up delivering as promised.
After the updated on Dec 23, I followed up on Jan 14 to see why I didn't receive my package. I was told "Unfortunately due to a system error your package was delayed from being shipped. I have corrected the issue and your Crystal Wash 2.0 will be shipped immediately." Nonsense, followed up again on Jan 28, was told only that there is a delay in the process....Seems like a scam
Do you guys really believe you get help from Kickstarter? I did think so too 2 years back. Like many backers I did think, we get help and support and "protection"... Of course not, just like all other backers I should have know better. Kickstarter lives by getting a percentage of all "sales" so the protect the moneymakers. I also believe in a view years it will kill Kickstarter and Others like them. Me and my friends lost all trust last year and Stopped backing. Most (electronic) projects are Chinese scam, telling they are from USA or Europe, and really based in China, Taiwan .... This project I did found out after they send the original and I checked. And found out it already existed for years and it would never work like they told us. ( I did report to Kicksterter, and only got a mail, thanks for your report, we will look into it, don't mail us, we mail you....after that nothing. I did send a mail to the creator telling him I did report fraud to MasterCard, and they ask me to give them 1 change too refund.. And they did ( minus 1 original and chipping). I think I did good because I had a pledge of 4 connected and 1 original. And for all thinking perhaps Indiegogo. Better, no, exactly the same. Same scammers, same products, and no help if you claim fraud. You can claim fraud at your Credit Card company, after more then 1 year I don't think it will work, but if many people will try, perhaps. Those companies do try too help, just like PayPal. We all did learn a lesson. The nice times of Kickstarter to help companies bring new products and you getting first for nice price is over. It's now a scamming money machine and too many people throwing there money away. I don't know about you, but I did work had for my money, and 1 dollar or 1000 I don't like to be scammed !!,
I should have known better. The whole Crystal ball team is.. . ANONYMOUS. A clear tell tale they anticipated problems OR made the ripoff as smooth as possible.
A month since the last update to say we weren't getting what we backed. It's Kickstarter. I get that. Giving us someone else's product as your own, against the rules. So, what is the next update. There is no v.2. We are skipping that to go straight to v.3. How is that going? Where are you up to? Xmas is done and dusted. Time to get to work on using our money and putting it to the use that we pledged for.
Recieved my 4 balls 2 weeks ago. Tried a few washes and was content. I had a wash of white T-shirts a blue shirts. They where clean and no odor was to smell. We have 3 children from 6 months to 4 years and are eagerly to know, if the balls work with childrens laundry...
Still haven't received mine its almost February. I know I'm in Australia, which is on the bottom of the planet, but still it normally doesn't take that long? Any idea wants going on?
I think meanwhile washing is a much more complex process than only lower the pH-level. (if it realy does). We did some tests with the V1 balls we got and same spots on it (wine, tomato sauce and so on). The V1 didn't worked at all and the staining remained on the towel. So we decided to give the balls in to a chemical lab. We will keep you up-to-date about the result.
So my assumption is it's not worth the money.
Crystal Wash LaundryNista Package. - So I got V1 a few months ago.
1 - Crystal Wash Original – to ship in March 2015
& 1 - Crystal Wash 2.0 – to ship in September 2015
Very tough to be respectful and considerate, I was shipped a second set of v1 with a sticker saying v2 on it. I would personally like to have my money back, or have you ship me the v2's when you get them done. The notice in the shipment saying your working on v3 is complete BS (bull sh!t).
3,706 backers pledged $268,368 to help bring this project to life.
With this much money and backers I cannot believe Kickstarter is allowing you to fail, I have 2 or 3 other ventures I've helped with, when they are backlog'd they tell us, then give a new date of delivery. Same thing happens with real companies, I work with avionics company, and if you shipped someone old hardware, just because you could not finish what was promised....
That is my two cents, Kickstarter, I hope you are reading these, and I hope this post does not disappear.
Scot, very disappointed Crystal Wash 2.0 customer. v1.0's are great, please ship me my 2.0's
Very disappointed. I don't think there are any differences between v1 and v2. It's totally not a reasonable move by creator to send us we didn't expect.
Testing right now, still need to wait for the results.
Did some research and here's what I found:
-They are re-marketing a product made by biocera which should be a Korean company
-http://biocera.co.kr/ is a South Korean domain name
-lots of websites are saying this used to be a product back in the 90s
-Biocera was created in 1994
-Crystal Clear, are POTENTIALLY improving it
-What they sent is V2, with an e-mail saying they're working on version 3 which should have been V2, but they couldn't get connection to work
-it may still be a scam, since they sent us the biocera balls without even bothering to change the name on the product
-they aren't being very responsive
-the balls on the website sell for $80 a set (2 balls) and they are the ones we recieved so at least we haven't been royally ripped off
We'll have to wait and see until around June or July, when they should be sending out version 3, until then just hope for updates otherwise please report this project since that would clearly be a scam
What is your opinion on the product after having a try? I want to believe in the efficacy of the product but some websites say it is a scam. Did you test it ?
I'm choosing to withhold any judgement on the Crystal Wash project. I ordered the original set and we have been washing with them for a several months. I'm still waiting for the new set to arrive.
This isn't the first project I backed that didn't ship on time. One project I backed on Indiegogo (not from this team) arrived a full year late and their communication was much worse than anything from the Crystal Wash team. Multiple times they promised they would be shipping soon and then there was no contact for months. I didn't expect to receive that one at all and it finally arrived.
I'm holding out hopes that I will 1) receive my Crystal Wash 2.0 soon (which I likely will give away), and 2) receive what is now being called Crystal Wash 3.0 as promised later this year. I can only imagine the challenge of building a wash ball with wifi capability that can survive the rigors of a wash cycle being swished and banged around constantly, and mostly underwater the entire time.
Use this space to cheer the creator along, ask questions, and talk to your fellow backers. Please remember to be respectful and considerate. Thanks!

Well I've got a repacked biocera ball and it even has a stamp of bio sera on it.
Also you design shows holes on both sides whereas this is exactly same as biocera with no holes at both ends.
This is not even 2.0 this is bio sera wtf I'm ripped off.
