I was listening to this while ordering some new Pokemon cards on Amazon. It's an easy way to find some of the cards you missed without having to spend lots on packs.
And the nostalgia I felt while listening to these mixes actually made me started crying.

+Hi _Jr Don't remember. I do remember that it took about 30 minutes or so to get the timestamps and a guess of the titles with the songs. I don't remember how long it took though for getting the missing songs I couldn't guess and fixing most of the timestamps.

+Delicious kebob All games have a debugger trying to look for exploits and game breaking issues, however there are two major issues with red/geen/blue:1) Due to short production time there wasn't much time to get more debugging done to fix some of the more severe bugs (safari zone glitch, duplication glitchs and other smaller ones).2) Due to the nature of the programming language all GB and GBC games were written in at the time (Assembly), they were extremely complicated and tracking down some bugs would take much longer than usual not to mention rewriting and modifying hundreds of lines of instructions. Also because of how the architecture of the micro processor and hardware they used in the game boy and game boy colour, it left it easily exploitable to memory manipulation of data loaded into ram by changing certain values of items or by loading/unloading others from events, which ended up leading to things like battling missing no (the error handler of unknown/out of bounds Pokémon index numbers), the mew glitch and warping directly to the end of the game.

Red/Blue similarities with Mother...First of all, here are the staff members that worked on the Pokemon series and the Mother series (Starmen.net)
-Tsunekaz Ishihara, the producer of Pokemon RB, worked on Earthbound.
-Hirokazu Tanaka worked on the music in Mother and EarthBound.
-Hiroshi Yamauchi was Mother’s executive producer, along with Poekmon RB.
-Takashi Kawaguchi worked as the debugger (lol) in Pokemon RB and is listed under “co-ordinate” for Mother, project manager for EarthBound.
-Hiroyuki Jinnai worked as the scenario writer for EarthBound and Pokemon RB.
-Tsunekaz Ishihara was the line producer for EarthBound and a debugger (lol) for Pokemon RB.Now, the similarities:

-Like the Mother games,Pokemon Red/Blue took place in a fairly modern setting, which IIRC was still unusual back in 1996 (when they were first released in Japan)Finally, in Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver, Blue’s attire is similar to the Masked Man’s.Some of the big-shots at Game Freak show up at the Pokemon World Championships, so someone needs to ask them about the similarities at 2012 Worlds.

Listened this beauty 4 years ago when I was pretty much a kiddo. I listened it again. Duuuude, the nostalgia is so high, that I almost cried at the end, those were some beautiful 30 minutes, thanks dude for making such amazing job.

i may have a pony icon but i have a truly soft spot for pokemon since they have been my childhood and kept to me to even these days... where i find myself getting a 3Ds just to get the newest pokemon game.

I always thought they were supposed to be joke titles, especially considering that many of them don't even use anything that remotely resembles the original name of the song and look like they were modeled after memes.

They mostly reference other notable game lines. The most obvious example is "All your Gym are [belong] to us", referencing the all your base meme from Zero Wing. Others include "Don't cry till it's over", referencing the tagline for the MOTHER series ("No crying until the end"), and "Still, the world is not changed", referencing the Chrono Trigger game over scene.

How Could you say this is bad?? This is AMAZING! And even if you didn't like it, leave an anonymous dislike. That's like going up to an artist with his painting, telling him that he is a bad artist, also telling him that this painting ruined your day, then walking away with no remorse. And EVEN if you HAVE to do that, at least tell them how to make it better. Besides, if you can't make anything close to this scale, you have no right to judge it. But just my opinion on this, you can just ignore this entire message.

+Stormandreas What's the use of criticism if it doesn't help anyone? If you just know you did something wrong, it won't help very much. If you could give the video creator some hints or suggestions about what they should do differently, then the video creator could put them in a future video if they see enough people saying the same things. Even if you can't do this, at least tell them why you didn't like it, to give meaning to your claim. And the comments sections are supposed to be like this, but haters have destroyed all meaning in these helpful/hurtful comments. (I'm not saying you are one) I'm on a mission to bring the comments section back to life. Not like it's going to work, but I already managed to clean some people up. There are plenty of videos making fun of the comments section on you tube.
on an unrelated note, the video creator could look in the analytics section, search the date and video, and see the nationality, volume, and video it was on. Not exactly anonymous anymore.
Like I said earlier, I'm not trying to shame you and say you did anything wrong, but i'm trying to point out the ethics behind it.

If I didn't like what someone did in a video, I'd NOT say it in the comments, to avoid debates like this one. But many other people DO post comments about it. Ever heard the saying, "If you have something bad to say, don't say it."? But I don't know, some people don't care if they say they don't like it. I mean, you can say "It wasn't really my cup of tea", or anything more "kinder". But saying it was a "butchery" is a very "negative" way of saying it. It's okay to tell the truth about something, but at least do it in a kind manner. 😄

Cringe, that opening chord progression. The final chord has dissonance on it, and this gives the listener tension which in the original song is resolved in the next chord. But this just repeats the chord progression without giving it a resolution, so the listener is left with all this unspent tension which just feels uncomfortable.

And perhaps some people are laughing at these puns, but I doubt the numbers are very high. And I am certainly not one of them. You will have to try harder to come up with a Poke-pun that is not childishly simple. In fact, I'd like to see you come up with a Poke-pun that would make ME laugh, or even chuckle.
