Evertonian here. To be fair, he was dreadful back in December/Janurary. He was handling the ball far too much and almost cost us some goals. This game he's been good defensively, but now he is getting rid of the ball quicker without taking away from his distribution ability.

I think the centre of midfield has let us down in general. Generally CM's are the better passers in a team, but both Carrick and Schneiderlin have misplaced simple balls.

Not really. He is lacking that incisive pass that he normally brings, so far he has been below average. That pass straight to Barkley summed it up. And he is getting bypassed too easily when Everton attack

Rashford and Martial have been excellent so far.

I hate to say it as he's such a likeable character but Mata should go, he's just not up standard. He can't play on the wing, he's effective in the middle every few games which isn't enough for a top team.

Lingard is playing well in that position which is good.

Rojo , Darmian , Schneiderlin and Carrick aren't helping our attack at all . Everton seems like it's attacking with more players than we are . We can criticize our attack but honestly only a few attacking players wouldn't need support from their team to be effective.

No big chances, neither side dominant. De Gea playing sweeper keeper, Blind bossing Lukaku. Carrick and Mata not getting on the ball enough. Rojo's been pretty dodgy. Lingard playing well, Martial and Rashford looking pretty dangerous.

Don't have too many complaints. It's been an entertaining game. Kept Everton relatively quiet considering the firepower they have (Blind has been great). Everton fans will probably feel the same about our attacking performance in that half though.

I'd like to see Mata get more involved in attack. Another half has past him by. Right flank in general is lacking.

Rojo has disappointed this season honestly. I thought he'd offer more going forward and he's not exactly assured in defence either

Mata absolutely lost his Mojo. No more intricate touches or passes.

Rojo started off shaky. Hopefully he gets it together 2nd half.

Blind playing like a rockstar.

Carrick and Schneiderlin aren't being mobile enough in the midfield. And Mata adds to that lack of mobility though he is playing RW. Right sided attacks have been ineffective unless its Martial who was roaming over there.

Blind's been great, Rojo's been dreadful. Same with Carrick. Mata's not offering anything going forward, Martial needs to shoot quicker.

Another 0-0 at HT with another shit performance, so nothing out of the ordinary this season. Considering this is a good chance to climb ahead of West Ham in the league, I fully expect us to lose in the second half to a stupid goal.

Slow and static moving forwards - Rashford keeps coming short and that leaves literally nobody behind their defence who can just step up and make the pitch more compressed.

Need to shift Lingard out right - have Herrera come on for Carrick in the middle and have some dynamism

Rashford's playing with some heart, which is good to see. Martial has threatened, and I think the two of them may just combine for something.

Lingard's been useful too, it's nice to see him help out with some defensive work.

Blind's been excellent, great presence at the back today.

Overall, not a boring first half, I thought. Hopefully the kids up front improve upon their first half threat and snatch us one.
