Having a beard used to mean that you worked as a lumberjack or you were in a biker gang or you were a rabbi or something. Now it means that you live in a ground floor apartment, own a cat, have a Something Awful account and donate to at least one fat woman's Patreon.

Probably one of the dumbest things I've read on reddit in a long time. And that's saying something.

Lmao. This guy has linked us 5 times in 24 hours. I wonder what CB did to hurt his feelings.

I used to read a lot of xkcd sucks back when carl still ran it, and xkcd sucks redux had a good run while it lasted (not long).

circlebroke 内の Not_Nate_Silver によるリンク If you thought the folks at SandersForPresident would allege election fraud today, congratulations

The AZ election wasn't really handled all that well. Even the governor has admitted as much. I dunno if I'd call it fraud, but I can see why people are upset about it. On the other hand, reddit pretty much has no middle ground between apathy and outrage, so that thread seems to be a bit of a shit show.

I looked again and it appears to be legit. SFV has some input leniency and Birdie's headbutt triggers on release, so I can see how it would look that way if you're not familiar with the game.

Five of the six top r/politics posts are about Sanders winning Michigan yesterday even though he actually lost ground in terms of delegates

None of the DNC primaries are winner-take-all, though I agree that uncritically throwing in the superdelegates into the total is misleading.

https://web.archive.org/web/20101116063418/http://www.reddit.com/?

This was at the tail end of the digg exodus, when reddit was growing a lot but before it got really big. You'll notice there was stuff with ~100 upvotes on the frontpage. Content looks to be a mix of sensationalized (but not totally insane) political articles and unfunny (but benign) humor stuff. At the time I'd signed up mostly for the rage comics. Not great, but also not as terrible as I expected it to be, looking back on it after all these years.

Are there any subreddits like circlebroke/negareddit, but without all of the extremism/circlejerking? A subreddit to discuss reddit and its issues in a serious way?

No community on reddit is truly immune to extremism/circlejerking, especially meta subs. Maybe carefully curating the user base might help, but then you run into other problems. Anyway, if you want to make such a place, good luck!

The pro-trump stuff is kind of weird, but did anyone actually expect Bernie to win in SC? I thought the Sanders campaign had mostly written it off at this point.
