Welcome to the HeinReich (HR) WW2 Serious Rp guide!
Here you will learn RP basics and ranks of our server and unit.


We run a tight ship here, we are serious roleplayers whose goal is to achieve the serious aspects of World War 2 on the Axis (Germany,Italy,and Japan) side of things. We will not tolerate Failrpers or Minges, they will be taken care of accordingly (They will be sent to the Gestapo).

Also! We are a historical server we thrive to show the prowess of the Wehrmact! So with that we are not a historical division/unit mainly so we can move to many places and provide more fun for the players!

Anyway down below is the true guide to the server and I hope you have fun!

Your Duties
As a soldier, you are expected to uphold your duties as according to your group leader and the Third Reich. Your duties include, but are not limited to:


- Participating in conflicts between ze Anglo-American gangsters und ze Oriental Horde from the East.
- Keeping your equipment up to standard.
- Following the orders of you superiors.

Our army is very organized and ranks are tight, any slip up and you risk disciplinary action. Following these guidelines will result in advancement via promotions or receieving medals. Promotions are not guaranteed and are again based off of merit of one self.

Ranks of the German Heer
Our unit is the 105th Infanterie der Heer.

The Wehrmacht ranks are as follows:
Schütze-Private
Oberschütze (Schütze with 6 months of service)-PFC
Gefreiter-Lance Corporal
Obergefreiter-Corporal
Stabsgefreiter-Quartermaster (Not entirely but more like a desk job)

Basic Formations

Column formation: Standing in a column, as the name suggests, facing the back of the person directly in front of you.
Line formation: A shoulder to shoulder line, or row, facing the same direction as the others in the formation.
Box formation: Form a protective box around a target of interest, otherwise known as a human turtle.
How to follow orders: The most important thing you must possess, the ability to follow orders given by a superior.
Rifle Usage: You must know how to use and fire your rifle. Most Schütze are equipped with Karabiner 98 Kurz, a bolt action rifle and are a symbol of pride of German Engineering.

This part of the guide is really a small guide in itself for serious rp

Here are some of the basics
OOC: OOC stands for Out Of Character. these statements/actions are things that a player makes out of his/her character within the RP so for example:
Schutze Heinrich Von Wedenheim : /OOC : I love that one movie... uhhhh ..... Star Wars IV

So Heinrich Von Wendenheim who is currently residing in Italy in 1943 would not know about Star Wars IV (Disney) at all nor would he be talking about it especially in character. So if you wish to talk about these things make sure that you use the /ooc before you type or simply state "Oh hey OOC this and that blah blah blah"

LOOC: Local OOC basically its OOC chat on a smaller scale so the whole server doesn't see what you are typing.

/ME: /ME's are actions that a player carries out RP wise or something you can't physically show in Garrysmod so for example:

/me Schutze Heinrich Von Wendeheim shakes the hand of Oberst Kruger.
You can't really show that action thus you use a /me in order to do so RP wise.

These are now the do nots of Serious RP

Metagame: Metagaming is when one uses OOC knowledge IC or in character so for example:
Heinrichs desc. says hes born in Dresden.
Friedhelm walks up to Heinrich (Who btw has never met Heinrich) and says "Oh so hows Dresden?" See Friedhelm wouldn't know that IC w/o asking him prior.

Powergaming: Powergaming is when you force an action onto a another player such as this
Heinrich says /me Kills Friedhelm
This sort of action does not allow player interaction. Do not do these things or else you face being kicked/ banned
