You worship an idealized (fantasy) image of an ideology (masculinity, capitialism) that has no foundation in reality, so you construct a scapegoat (feminism, islam) that fills in that void and allows you to justify your world view.

It's like in cartoons when a character walks off a cliff and he keeps walking as if there's solid ground underneath him, and when he realizes there's no ground to support him, only then he falls. This is what your doing, avoiding the truth that there's no ground supporting you so you can continue to walk in mid air without falling.
