So IDK where else to go with this, but today I had a weird run-in with the mods of r/news. Particularly a /u/LuckyBdx4. This mod has never said anything to me before, and I have never been made aware of breaking the rules of the sub. To my knowledge, "trigger words", as the mod called them, are not against the rules, and I had no idea that "tumblrinas" was even a "trigger word". The rules section does have a part for "rude" comments, but I had seen this word used all the time and didn't think twice about it. (See below for comment/message content)
Later on, people started accusing me of deleting the comment, which I had not. I had to go to the mods and actually ask them what happened, and the lovely /u/LuckyBdx4 replied with: "Reported for a trigger word "tumblarinas", and was removed"
When I asked him what rule I broke or why one report could get my comment taken away, when it had 53 upvotes, I got this kind message in reply: "You have been temporarily muted from r/news. You will not be able to message the moderators of r/news for 72 hours."
Seriously? I was pretty kind to the mod and genuinely asked why the feelings of one overly sensitive person was enough to delete a very popular comment. Just silence. And he muted me. On a news website. News is supposed to be able to be talked about openly, with free speech, and discussion. Am I really in the wrong here? I'm not particularly anti-PC, but I do like to poke fun sometimes, just like I do with anyone else. Has anyone else had these issues with this mod? I have sent something similar to the admins to see if they will have him chill out or something, although I assume they too are some "tumblr enthusiats", and will either victim blame me, slut shame me, or ignore me entirely. Who knows.

I had replied to this comment: "I don't think Microsoft should be apologizing at all. It's a robot, it's not racist or sexist. It's been manipulated. If anything, twitter users are the sexist and racist ones."
With this comment: "Yeah, but that's not how tumblrinas and professional victims will see it. They will blame the robot, even though it learned from the best of the best shitposters on the web."
BTW, I am anti-PC now, thanks to a PC nazi. Fuck this shit.
