It does have what it takes but its not gonna be enough. It's going to get destroyed by critics and people who haven't seen it because they all already made up their minds or made assumptions about it. Similarly, there will even be Warcraft fans who will just hate on it for stupid reasons like orcs not having the right skin colour or something along those lines.

Just look at the other responses in this thread. People are already saying its going to be shit and they haven't even been seen yet. I want Warcraft to be successful but I think there's a hate train that's really going to damage it

Orc skin color is literally a part of the story, though!

Seriously, how the fuck does that orc baby have green skin when its parents are brown. Was she breastfeeding Mannoroth milk?

the green skin came from the use of warlock magic. it worked sort've like second hand smoke - the guy next to you is doing demon stuff so you're effected. the orcs didn't immediately turn green, their skin started peeling off and the new layer was green - as was any offspring's.

Why don't other races turn green when somebody is fucking around with warlock shit?

it effects different races different, for example the elves' eyes turned from blue to green when they began playing with fel magic. it's also not like one warlock will change their entire race, these things only really happen upon widescale adoption of the magic (which most races haven't done).
