I'll probably be downvoted for this as its the pattern I've recognized on this sub but I've bit my tongue every other post so I'll say it here and hopefully I won't get shit on too bad.

BVS isn't a fantastic movie. It let me down a lot. It did things wrong that perhaps could've been helped if Snyder wasn't a part of it. But I liked it. And it seems everytime anyone tries to tell people it's not the biggest piece of shit in the world we get made fun of or patronized.

I think this is the key part though. I admire Snyder's passion but with "Man of Steel" and "Batman vs Superman" I just do not think he is the right person to be in charge of the Justice League movies. I honestly don't.

I'll disagree.

He is using these two (and soon to be 3) movies to build up to what we expect. He is trying to build a legacy for DC movies. He's not doing what Nolan did, make a trilogy, and then done.

Then end of Justice League 1 (or maybe somewhere in the middle) will be the defining moment for Supes, and Batman. That is when they will be what most people want them to be. But to do that, and to have it mean something, you need to build up to it.

That doesn't mean the lead up films have to be (in many people's opinion) a total train wreck.

How exactly is it a total train wreck? Enough with the hyperbole.

A 29% on rotten tomatoes is pretty much a train wreck. It's not hyperbole. And, like I said, that's people's opinion, which is obviously subjective. I'm not saying that if you enjoyed the film you're an idiot. Just that it got fucking panned. That's not hyperbole, that's reality.

A 29% on Rotten Tomatoes is not a train wreck. The tomato meter is a shit system because it creates a binary system that isn't really actuate.

Of those rotten scores most of the actual rating are a mixed bag of good and bad. Which is what Sup V Bat really is. Some good, some bad certainly not a train wreck. It also had a 72% Audience score and brought in 166 Million.

Ohmagoodness. I know. In my very first response I acknowledged that a lot of people agree that it's not a train wreck.
