Think about it. You'd have to be retarded to not realize that reddit is just an advertising board. And yet we think that we have safe havens like r/conspiract or what other subreddit you subscribe to.
Now really think about it. Imagine there's a place within the website you own where most critical thinkers congregate. What would you do? Naturally, you wouldn't just stop them, since that would just make them doubt you more.
What you would do though is pollute the conversations, derail them onto the path you need, allow only the threads you want to get to the top page. Basically, you control their thoughts. We don't live in the age of information, we live in the age of disinformation. Sigh, I wish I knew of a forum that was unregulated.
