Put it this way: you're going to dine out, you have choices.

You can either have:

The dish you know is going to be delicious

or

The dish you've never really tried, that COULD be delicious, or could give you bowel problems.

I'd rather go for delicious, i.e. someone proven

He may not have the best experience

He doesn't have any experience.

by being the assistant manager for almost 3 years now

Almost 2 years.

All great managers once started off as amateurs without any professional experience, and Giggs has already learnt a lot in the last 3 years and will learn a lot and improvise the team if he's given the chance.

This is the biggest football club in the world, we can't have a manager who learns and improvises as he goes along.

I'm all for Giggs to manage us some day, but today isn't that day. He needs to get some proper hands-on experience. We can't afford to have a manager with training wheels on.

So what other than wishful thinking points you to the conclusion that he'll be a great manager? I think you are confusing hope and loyalty for something else.

Nobody refutes that on this sub that he could be a great manager, the problem is is that he has no experience. He needs to prove what he has learnt somewhere else first. Why don't you agree with that

LVG was confused as to why the fans were shouting 'Attack Attack Attack!'. To me, this shows how Giggs has either kept quiet or does not have much say. I hope Giggs will be in charge of Man Utd one day, but not now when we need a manger to overhaul this squad.
