Becoming more attracted to older women? (self.asktrp)

So I've recently realized that I'm not super attracted to women around my own age and older that much...and I'm only 22. It's hard to point out exactly what it is, but there just seems to be noticeable skin aging in the face in most girls by the mid-20s. Their bodies aren't as firm. They don't have the same "glow." Don't get me wrong, I'd totally bang and maybe even LTR a bunch of girls my age but I haven't had a single 22+ year old just make me fall in love with at first sight whereas I regularly feel this with random 16-21 yos.

Personally, I blame an entire masturbation career towards teens and legal JB. I feel pretty spoiled in this regard. Is this something that will go naturally away as I get older? Will it go away if I'm truly in love with a girl? I really don't want to be the old perv still dating teens his entire life. I would ideally like to get married, and I wouldn't want to lose attraction to my wife after she passes the wall. Is there any way to stop this?

Attraction's not a choice. If that's what you want, then it is. Mostly I don't but very rarely there's one that's older than me but has very good genetics, took good care of herself, etc., and I find that one attractive.

Image of older women is overrated. Besides physical drawbacks you mentioned; they most likely will have:

  • Bitterness
  • Baggage
  • Alpha widowness
  • Regretfulness
  • Urgent BB seeking
  • Princess syndrome (even more ridiculous at their age I assure you)
  • Kid(s)

If easy lay floats your boat so be it. Anything beyond bed is toxic.

Nah it's not really old, I just mean 22+ year olds don't invoke that same feeling of "I would literally die to protect you." Just that utter feeling of masculine lust and love you can get for a girl just by looking at her. There's plenty of girls in my range (22-25) that I'd consider banging but it's just, a 23 year old is always going to be straight up inferior to an 18 year old in terms of appearance, you can't deny that.

We give women too much credit in that department. Women are never put in situations where they must lay down their lives for children. They dont fight wars, they dont keep communities safe. They dont even kill spiders. Women are not even asked to endure to discomfort for their children, what makes you think they would die for them?

We're talking about feelings and emotions here. Not action. A lot of men that think "I'd die for that woman", wouldn't really die for her when it comes to it. Thankfully. But the thought does drive men to do stupid, illogical things for women. Give them praise and worship they don't deserve. Same thing goes for how women sometimes tolerate a lot of shit from their children. Spend thousinds of hours taking care of a smelly, screaming meatsack.

I get this too . And I haven't fapped since 2 years ago . Maybe you ARE right . It's like , even if they don't have the greatest body , when they are 16 , it's still perfect , absolutely clean and smooth . After 22 , signs of the smallest of wrinkles show up even on average slim girls . Yeah ... If they don't work out you feel it . It's like they are starting to fall apart from the inside . You can tell something is off . They lose the glow . They just don't care about their bodies .But there are women at 30 out there , who work out so much that their bodies are still glowing . For me at least . Soo ... Not much we can do about it .

Probably. My experience has been that most people's "ideal age" for partners changes over time; often, what's stable is their preferred age difference. There are a lot of men who prefer women about 5 years younger than they are, and you're probably one of them.

I'll bet you $20 that when you're 30, you'll see a 25 year old woman and feel that protective instinct you get for a 17 year old now, and you'll look at a 17 year old girl and see an annoying kid.

I'm probably older than your father OP, and I still think younger girls are much hotter than middle aged ladies. This is totally natural. Your body is responding to visual fertility cues. I can tell you when I was in my twenties before the Obesity Epidemic most women continued to be hot into their early thirties. High calorie diets age people so fast..

The only advantage I've seen to getting older and dating 40+ women is you're not going to put up with any shit from them, and the ones with half a brain know it. Basically the power shifts from F->M as you get older. I know a guy in his sixties who has several girlfriends, and he's not good looking or anything.
