also completely eliminates any further global support for our efforts. Glassing an entire region and creating the worst humanitarian crisis in decades is way more fucking violent and insane than what ISIS can achieve lest they get a nuke of their own.

If they make terrorists, well we'll just have to make more bombs. Your argument is pure leftist chicken-and-egg nonsense. It's victim-blaming. You honestly think this terror campaign will end if we stop bombing them? That's not why they attack us. Yes, the old Dubya adage of them hating our freedoms is actually true. They really do attack us for that reason.

But that's not PC. So let's just keep pretending they're really nice guys, we'll secede Israel to Palestine, we won't enforce our cultural values inside our own border, and we'll let radical Islamic terror cells like Sharia4Brussels and Daesh beat our daughters and introduce twinges of sharia in the western world.

You'd have to glass all of the middle east, and half of eastern asia... There are a lot of non muslims in those regions (who cares about the muslims) who you'd be killing.

What you're advocating is genocide.

And if you did glass the middle east the amount of nuclear fallout from that would make Earth uninhabitable.

I am in no way of favoring a total glassing of the middle east, but what solution do we have? Either islam needs to reform (doesn't seem like that is happening anytime soon) or we have to do something (I don't know what that something would be)?

Just because North Korea is run by an insane autocrat, we don't have to take action against him - in fact, doing anything would likely cause bigger problems to emerge.

What we can do is take a variety of actions to reduce the possibility of successful terrorist acts in the United States, and also accept that living with a small chance of terrorism (Islamic or otherwise) is a consequence of modern civilization.

I am constantly disappointed by the media's fear-mongering and the general assumption that Americans need to be very afraid.

We do take action against N Korea in the form of sanctions that have destroyed their economy. I am not afraid in the least bit, it is interesting that I got two downvotes for asking a reasonable question here. What solutions do we have to stop ISIS or whomever from committing extreme acts of violence, not only against us in a small way but against its own people, we can't sit by and let some extremists wholesale slaughter innocent people.

Are you a victim of ISIS? I seriously doubt it. But apparently your feelings of fear are so powerful that your solution is to indiscriminately kill a large group of people, many of whom are ACTUAL victims of ISIS - people who have had to leave their homes, people who have lost family members.

I don't know what will end terrorism, but I certainly do not think that a nuclear bomb will fix the situation.
