Is it just me or does the New England kit look disgusting?

Both are awful. Nike are so shit at making kits now

When Roy came on for his interview I wasn't looking and immediately thought it was a Dutch player/staff member talking

Golazo! Jamie Vardy with a decent finish.

Stones showing why he's not worth the £50m that everyone seems to be falling over each other to pay for him.

Once again, Memphis proves a defensive liability. Unable to mark Walker effectively on the wings. Poor sluggish effort. Showing no desire for club or country. Big fan of the guy, but i'm starting to lose respect for him.

That one was mostly on Blind... He was so indecisive and didn't stick to his man. You'd think he would've learnt from Vardy's form in the League.

But Memphis was so sluggish in covering walker who was his man. Blind shouldn't have to do much there because the pass to Walker should have been handled by Memphis. We've seen Martial do that so many times. Part of the defensive duties of the wingers is to contain the opposing full backs and Memphis has always botched that. Of course I don't even think he should be as defensively sound as a defender but you could just see the lack of urgency in his movement. He was on pace with Walker and just slowed down like it was nothing. It's getting more obvious why he's not getting playing time I think.

EDIT: look at his body language and tell me you'll ever see Martial or Lingard do that during a game.

Wingers don't always have to do defensive duties. With the Dutch team, imo, the wing-backs/full-backs do more of the defensive work. Memphis no doubt wasn't aware enough when Walker made his run, but he did run at him to stop the cross. The little slow down he had was because he looked over to see where the ball was being played... Clear indication of his inexperience.

Blind, on the other hand, sticks close to Vardy until he gets caught ball-watching (not man-marking) with Lallana's pass out wide. He also doesn't even make an effort to run towards Vardy as soon as the ball goes out wide to Walker.

Don't get me wrong. I fucking love Blind. He's insane on the ball and has played well at CB this season, but he is not a good enough CB. I'd love to see him in his best position, CDM.
