Well, things have been going downhill. I doubt anyone can deny this. Money is being wasted in stupid ways and we took in too many people at the same time without having a real plan.

The important thing to know, absolutely super important, is that the government, and several governments before this, have never taken their time to thoroughly look through the laws and policies we had/have for immigration. This leads to a lot of shit happening when the system is barely functional in the first place. Policies were old, housing crisis which have been an issue for a while already, economic decline world wide, etc. Many factors comes into play here, so undeniably the situation is kind of crappy, but things have calmed down slightly. Though now the issues and worries with full blown terrorism is at hand as Brussels have had their share of the cake, so to speak.

There is nothing offensive about asking a question.

I cant answer all but I was worried asking a question as I have read that it is frowned upon to ask.

Watched vids and commentary on what is happening and I am not wanting to believe it as it could be propaganda.

The absolute majority of articles and videos are some sort of propaganda. Rarely have I seen videos that states what the problem is and just presents solutions and the pros and cons of those solutions. This is how it should be. There is too much fucking käbbel and too much cosseting going on here. No one wants to be the one that loses their face or something like that. The lack of "doers and fixers" in the government pisses me off, and so does the fact that most of our leaders cannot even speak two languages properly.

Either way, most of what you see is propaganda and very little is actually being done about it. It seems to go in the right direction at least, but it is slow. Progression is progression. Better than no progression, but the work to prevent future shit storms in any political area is never done. It's always done when the damage already has showed itself. That is how politics and politicians work, and for those whom have a political-financial interest too.

So how do you feel? You said the politicians are squabbling as they always do.

Feel? Well I feel betrayed, even though I did not vote for the government we have now. They have a purpose which is to prevent shit to happen to the people of said nation, regardless if we are talking about Swedish immigration or American economy. It matters not.

To get to the point I feel betrayed in the sense that so many people get free stuff which I do not. They get housing, they get free dental care, and even a lot of money. Now, we are supposed to have a system that helps people, absolutely, but shouldn't we all have the same kind of help? I mean, I am not fleeing from war or anything, but I live in a basement along with 3 others, where a childrens family of 5 people rents to two floors above us, and the landlord lives in Dubai. I mean, we are 4 people in a fucking basement. I pay a rent of 4500sek, which is close to $500 dollars. The room is 13,6sqm. Why cannot the system help me? Also me teeth are getting fucked because of my wisdom teeth. Why can I not get free dental care? And even worse, what about the elderly?!

The point I want to make is that we should all live under the same basic rules where some situations might dictate where you have to bend the rules or not, but that should be deviations from the system, and not the fucking standard. When I have to pay my fair share and not get anything back, I feel, when hundreds of thousands of people get in here and have the chance to get free housing, health care and everything they exploit the system which has rules that are retarded and that needs a fucking update. It's not the immigrants' fault the system is shit, it is the governments and the leaders' faults. They haven't made a system that is equal in terms of gender or in terms of nationality. The system at this point favours immigrant men. They don't add any contidions to how gender balance is distributed amongst those whom get it, neither do they even check their fucking age.

This is how I feel. I feel like a second grade citizen in my own home. A lot of people do as well. They feel exluded and left out because the government doesn't really seem to care that they excist. It's like when your parents get a younger sibling. The older kid will get angry because most of the attention goes to the baby, which makes the older sibling feel left out. That is what is going on.

Don't worry there is free money for everyone.

You are racist for just asking this question.

It is awesome artwork. So this means.. yes?

Yes, there's just a smoldering wreck left where the country used to be, it's very sad.

It's all over everywhere because Sweden has been touted as paradise on earth and a place where immigration actually works. Most people around the world see no point in immigration, but in Sweden most people do. Additionally, Swedes are terrified by being oldschool, and are by nature super smug humble braggers about being progressive, the type of annoying people you enjoy seeing fail, especially in the neighbouring countries where the jante law is stronger.

Also, current Swedes have grown up in an isolated non-religious society with high trust, and cannot really relate to people wanting to e.g. steal things, behave badly and enforce religion.

The country is not burning, but the school and the housing problems are very bad.

These things were not so obvious to me when I lived there, but became very obvious after living abroad.

[–]FaustyArchaeus[S] 0ポイント1ポイント  (1子コメント)

Had to google jante law but I think I get it.

My impression was that Sweden was a place where immigration failed. So it works?

That depends on how you define success. Is there a full scale race war? No. Do middle easterners have jobs? Not to the degree one would expect.

Yes, it is true.

Well I feel afraid when going alone outside during evenings/nights.
