This wasn't the intent of my original post but you're post seems to be riddled with misinformation.

A quick google search:

Passed by Congress on January 31, 1865, and ratified on December 6, 1865, the 13th amendment abolished slavery in the United States. The 13th amendment, which formally abolished slavery in the United States, passed the Senate on April 8, 1864, and the House on January 31, 1865.

And,

In Brown v. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483 (1954), the Supreme Court outlawed segregated public education facilities for blacks and whites at the state level. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 ended all state and local laws requiring segregation.

So its been 151 years since slavery was ended, and 52 years since segregation was ended. So essentially we've had two, to three generations of people growing up together. And double that since slavery was ended.

Again my post had nothing to do with race, infact I'd wager the poorest people outside of my neighborhood are whites, as I hardly see any blacks. Only whites/hispanics. So please don't come here race baiting with false information rooted in racism.
